  1. Hey, all the very best for your boxing match. About the "weight losing" part you'll do it. Thanks to the paleo diet. I too started it last week, not for weight loss though (for muscle gain) and if you continue with this diet... Awesomeness will kiss your feet.
  2. Thanks guys. I won't quit this time, that's for sure. I just saw one of Steve's article that talks about resting one day in between workout days for muscle building. Is it any different from strength training? If so, which one should I follow first?
  3. This is the right place to get inspired... I just joined about 4 days ago and man, Steve's articles are cool! Also I like the support that the people here prove to be. As rule # 1, says we don't care where you are from, just where you are going. "Welcome to the rebellion!"
  4. Hi, everyone... I have really no idea how to get those so called "Spartan Strength" or "Super Arms". I had once joined a gym but after 3 months and no muscle gain ( I did gain some good amount of strength) due to lack of proper training, advice or support. Ultimately, I just quit. I remember some friends laughing at me/my size when they learnt that I was once a regular 'gym guy'. It's been like 2+ years and I just started working out. Except for pushups (15 reps 5 sets), pullups (I can manage only 4 now), chinups (3 or I should say 2.5) and squats (10 reps 5 sets), is there anything else I should add to my workout? I'm also planning to go paleo but am worried that I'll lose whatever weight I've got left in me. Should I continue to eat some rice etc. to prevent that weight loss?
  5. Hi everyone, I'm Jameson, a skinny guy, which probably never seemed to change. I'd kinda quit till I finally found this site and to see so many people (even Steve, the leader) who have GAINED weight and muscle. It's really inspiring. Can't thank you enough for the hope that I can also be a spartan soon.
