Eddie_Lizzard : Preparing for adventure!
eddie_lizzard replied to eddie_lizzard's topic in Level 1 Rebels
My first two weeks have went really well! I've had no soda (or any other sugary drinks for that matter) and I've been working out several times a week. I am really happy to say that I've already lost ten pounds. I wasn't going to weigh myself until half way but I went ahead and did this morning and I was at 136. I'm pretty excited and still feeling super motivated. =D Thanks for checking in! -

That's a good idea. Perhaps I'll link to my blog at the end of the challenge! -

Comic Books and Graphic Novels: What are you reading?
eddie_lizzard replied to Raikas's topic in Rebel Army Base Camp
Oh, Hughes. :L I watched the anime (all of FMA and FMA:Brotherhood) a couple of months ago. I held out hope that he was going to make some kind of miraculous reappearance but he never did. One of the saddest character losses ever to me. . Currently reading: Saga, Volume 1, by Brian K. Vaughan -
I just finished the first book in the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson and started Saga, Volume 1 by Brian K. Vaughan and also Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to join the rebellion today. I do love a good adventure but recently I've been living a somewhat sedentary lifestyle. I think one of the reasons is that a lot of my favorite hobbies, such as board games, video games, Netflix(not a hobby but you get it), reading, writing and drawing are so easy to do sitting down. Also, I'm taking online classes so that also has me sitting around a lot too. But I want to change that and get moving again! I guess I identify most with the Hobbit race. I love the simpler things in life... "food and cheer and song above hoarded gold" and all that. I like to stay at home and be comfortable but I also have a "Tookish" side that makes me long to travel somewhere distant, climb mountains and prove to myself that I am courageous and strong. I guess I've just needed "a little nudge out the door." I believe that's what NerdFitness will be for me! I've been lurking around and this seems like such a great community and I can't wait to join you guys on this epic journey.
