  1. Please help me decide between these recipes: https://skinnymixers.com.au/altof-chocolate-mousse/ https://skinnymixers.com.au/altog-rizogalo-with-baklava-crumb-rice-pudding/ https://skinnymixers.com.au/altoi-mango-lassi-whip/ https://skinnymixers.com.au/skinnymixers-instant-blueberry-icecream/ https://skinnymixers.com.au/skinnymixers-strawberries-cream-instant-icecream/ https://skinnymixers.com.au/skinnymixers-torta-bertolina/ https://skinnymixers.com.au/thmiv-ricotta-berry-slice/ At some point I now believe I will make them all.
  2. I'm in the same boat as you. Aiming to lose 0.5kg a week, 149cm tall and live a relatively sedentary lifestyle and MFP gives me 1250 calories a day which when I measured TDEE gave me roughly the same.
  3. Except here, apparently I will call upon the culinary gods and see what healthy dessert item I can concoct in my Thermomix.
  4. Greetings fellow Rebels, this is Rebel Pure, transmitting from a secret Rebel base in Perth, Western Australia. It is a strange and wondrous thing to think that at the end of this challenge I will finally be able to return to university. Before that happens I need to get myself back on track though. Comparing my Mood Tracker for the last few weeks compared to how it was at the start of the year times have felt average when before they were productive and joyous. How can I get those times to return to me? Midway through this challenge I will be attempting an adventure - The Charity Walk. It is a 42km night walk for charity. I was meant to raise $500 through donations for entry however did absolutely minimal fundraising and as such will just fund the remaining myself (I sold an expensive doll which will help to fund this). I have never walked such a distance in my life. The past few weeks I have spent completing my Zombies, Run C25K program will hopefully have assisted with this adventure. They did recommend walking longer distances closer to the event but I am a minimalist in how I like to spend my time and so I have not. Interestingly, if I choose to do so on the night, my Zombies, Run C25K program would end during the charity walk. Depending on how I'm feeling, I may choose to hold the final session until the week after the charity walk. The end of this challenge is also cutting it close to the date where I am meant to have completed my three month goals. And so, for my other goals in this challenge I will be working on those. These are separate from my Quest for Adventure goals but some overlap (Quest for Adventure Goals) TLDR Challenge Goals 1. Finish the Zombies C25K program (~ 6 XP towards my Hiking Badge) 2. Complete Charity Walk (20 XP towards my Personal Growth Badge) 3. Check in with my Passion Planner twice daily (No XP, I just need to remind myself to use it more regularly to keep on track of things) 4. Finalise my mission statement. (I'm pretty sure I have the wording I want for this, need to mention it in my Epic Quest thread) 5. Unplug for 24 hours on the 14th of Feb (No better thing to do for Valentine's Day) 6. Complete 1 story outline/timeline (Words are hard. Won't get me XP but will help lead to it) 7. Finalise assignment tracker for university (I want my unit outlines already!) 8. Finish KonMari before university starts
  5. I love that picture, it makes me desirous to get outdoors which is not always a reality with the weather where I'm at. Congrats on your new job, I'm sure you'll do smashing!
  6. I do need to give myself recognition for my efforts more often, thank you ❤️
  7. So this week has been plagued with illness, COVID testing and ongoing sluggishness. Thankfully whatever I had was not COVID and I am back in action. Somehow I have lost 900 grams this week. I'm spending the weekend doing KonMari decluttering and fingers crossed that next week I can get back to being more focused on my goals.
  8. 900 grams loss to make 79.1kg this week. I have an inkling this might result in me gaining next week but I'll be happy so long as I stay under 80kg. I also am currently following the KonMari decluttering process and tried on some old clothes yesterday and everything mostly fits! There are a few items that are a teeny bit too tight but they still look okay.
  9. Good news, no covid for me. Just the average general blehness of some illness which has mostly cleared up that I can tell. As we're still in lockdown this week, and I'm still feeling the bleh I'm gonna was in circles in my garden or play Beat Saber this week, then I'll see what the go is for next week. I haven't been doing as well with my calorie tracking while I was ill so fingers crossed I haven't sabotaged myself too much. At this rate I will be doing my final Zombies, Run session during the 42km charity walk I'm meant to be doing next month.
  10. Covid/illness has thrown a spanner into my works - while it is highly unlikely that I've got it I'm showing symptoms (which are more likely a regular cold) and I was in the close vicinity to where a known covid case had been so better safe than sorry. I got tested so I'm chilling in self-iso until I get my results. If I get a negative my plan for the rest of this week will be just to do some light daily exercise and then I'll start the next week of the zombies run app afterwards.
  11. I weighed myself early because I was curious and I am down 1.1kg so I will be taking that number and running with it tyvm. If I lose weight next week I will finally be under 80kg again.
  12. I am still here, still going strongish, just... I've always found it difficult to do updates. Haven't figured out why yet. I missed going to archery on the weekend - there was potential rain and I spent the whole day spaced out and not feeling the greatest so it was for the best in the end. Food tracking has been going well and I completed Week 4, Session 1 in my Zombies, Run! app today.
  13. I reweighed this morning and I'm down 100g from last weeks weigh-in. My sister pointed out that this may have been a consequence of having the fish and chips and pizza the week before last >.>
  14. So, I somehow managed to gain 200g which I'm a little bummed about. I'm wondering if it's because of how I've changed my routine though so I think I'll weigh myself again tomorrow morning and see if there's much difference. After the hard work of the week I'm feeling kinda let down. More careful about calculating the calories in this week methinks.
  15. It was so nice to be reading US government news yesterday and it actually being good news.
  16. Peeps, peeps, peeps. I motherflippin sprinted during parts of my freeform run during Zombies Couch to 5k last night Considering the runs I do during the walk/run drills are more like a zombie shuffle, we will commence being VERY PROUD OF ME.
  17. After chowing down 7 books in the first two weeks I've been at a standstill. I think one issue is that I haven't had much time to read lately that I haven't then instead spent mindlessly browsing the interwebs but also I'm trying to read a non-fiction book (it's a compulsory text for uni) and my heart just isn't in it. I'm gonna try get through it this weekend
  18. I lost 7cm from my bust and barely lost (and put on) in other places. That was heartbreaking.
  19. It sounds like what is known as a meat box in kebab stores. They are amazing and one of the few things I miss under my pescatarian regime.
  20. End of Week Update I am overall pretty happy with how this week went. I enjoyed myself with pizza and fish and chips and STILL lost 0.6kg which I accept is a good result. Goal wise: Attend archery training if it is held (must go to southern training if it is own and northern training isn't) Archery Badge Attended archery training this week also. Shooting was not so good. Need to work on arm strength. Start Zombies, Run! again and keep at it Hiking Badge, but also assists with Personal Growth task of Complete Charity Walk 3 Zombies, Run! C25K this week. Am trying to switch one to a Wednesday morning so I can do things Wednesday evening. It was rough but I got through it. Track calories Assists but doesn't contribute to Personal Growth Badge This had a slight failure this week in that I didn't track calories for finishing off the pizza or the fish and chips lunch I consumed but I still lost weight so I'm comfortable with this. I also tracked calories one day which allowed me to have a large bowl of icecream and at the end of it made the decision that future bowls should be smaller - too much of a treat suddenly doesn't become a treat. May your Week 2 have also been good to you Rebellion. ❤️
  21. Y'know, when I first read wings my immediate thoughts turned to food. But these wings are much cooler!
  22. 0.6kg loss for me this week. While there's a part of me that's upset that it's less than half of last weeks loss I do have to acknowledge that I ate a whole pizza (Domino's Spicy Paneer) and had fish and chips this week and the fact that I still lost 0.6kg after that is awesome. I would also like to work on increasing my activity so am pledging that the week coming, any day I am not doing a physical activity (which should be Tues, Thurs & Sat) I will do 30 minutes of Beat Saber, or if I buy another fitness VR game, 30 minutes of that.
