  1. Sue, your previous post wast just great. The giving in thing is of no great importance in fact it was almost a good thing in that sometimes if you dont bend a bit you snap. I allow myself a small number of indulgences a week, knowing this i find i often dont use them.

  7. Hi guys, a word of warning SMUG ALERT! please accept my apologies in advance. Today I have three mini woots. First one, 20820 steps. Second, 4 Km in 28 minutes and 23 seconds, the best this year. Third 7 km in 53 minutes and 32 seconds the best this year Fourth, 7.96 km in 60 minutes, the quickest this year. Next target 8km or more in 60 minutes. Other stats 15.69 km travelled 3709 calories burned.

  9. I dont know if I am allowed to plug other sites but if you want a good range of work outs from "easy peasy" to OMG then Fitness Blender is very good, all free.
  10. Mini woot this morning. As you may be aware we British use the archaic stones and pounds when we weigh ourselves, this morning I have transisioned from the 13 stone range to the 12 stone range and although I know I can go back up again with the usual fluctuations and am very pleased with this. In celebration of this I am going on a "hell for leather" mini challenge, it start this morning and finishes at midnight on Sunday, the challenge will consist of the following elements. Minimum 42000 steps Minimum 14.5 Km run Minimum 30 Km travelled, not including the bike ride Minimum 18 Km cycled Minimum 1.5 pounds lost These are hard enough to be challenging but well within my ability.

  14. Agree with all of that, although i weigh myself every morning i dont take much notice of it, just a habit really like cleaning my teeth. My judgement are based upon how my clothes fit, I have two target pairs of jeans.

  17. Hi Fearless, looking good in all areas. I have joined MFP but have not yet started using it properly, whats your opinion of it? I have linked my Fitbit to it.
  18. Back to the gym today 15 minutes of kettlebells 12373 steps 7.32 km run in 60 minutes 9.5 Km travelled 2733 calories burnt I like this one That towel you are carrying is to wipe off sweat not to throw in.
  19. Ok maybe i should not be amused by this but my wife went to the gym for the first time in many a year on Sunday, she arrived home from work last night as stiff as a board lol. Still I made her dinner (steak diane and mixed veg plus garlic potatos) and a large glass of Shiraz followed by a hot bath and all was mostly welll again.
