  1. Oh my goodness, I couldn't believe this when I read it. Congrats! We also have three little ones. Back in the spring, I decided to wean the littlest guy so I could really get to work gaining some weight back (odd problem I know). We weren't chemically preventing, but I didn't expect to have one cycle and oh wow...two lines. Our #4 will most likely arrive late Dec/early Jan which will also be the closest gap between kids. It took us 2 years to get our first, too. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Happy, healthy 9 months to you!
  2. Two is better than ten Overall, I'd still say not too bad. Hope this week is going well for you.
  3. Glad to hear your training sessions are still going well. I've never tried a rowing machine, but I think I would like it. I hope you have a great time on your trip.
  4. Looks good! I almost downloaded the internet tracker, but I chickened out because I'm too afraid to know how much time I spend on here.
  5. Last night was my first workout. If I double up, I can catch up. It's different muscle groups, so I should be alright. I'm having a difficult time getting 5 cups of veggies a day and I think I'm coming up a bit short on the protein. Usually I have: green smoothie w/ greek yogurt if eggs for breakfast- add veggies spinach salad for lunch (afternoon snack I usually don't get around to) dinner- meat, rice/ sweet potato, veggie (small something before bed, but dinner is usually late and getting kids to bed, blah blah so this doesn't happen either) Obstacles: I don't get up early enough I miss
  6. It's a good thing that you were there for her. I hope she's doing better now. I spend way too much time in front of this screen. You've made me think about how I spend my time.
  7. I've been trying to get my hubby in here too. So far, he made an account...more than two years ago. I find I have more energy too when I workout regularly. It definitely helps me get through the day.
  8. How simple! I so need one of those. Of course, I'm nowhere near doing one, but still.
  9. It is difficult sometimes to juggle the minis. #4 is on the way for us. You're making great progress though!
  10. Sounds good to me. It also sounds like you're in a beautiful place. Have a great time!
  11. Looks great, remind me to not make you angry
  12. Boo on the injury You're already thinking ahead about not giving in to the emotional side, that's great! Sometimes challenges need to be adjusted. it doesn't mean you fail, you're just going in a different direction and still doing things to help you be healthier. I hope you are able to get rest and it heals quickly for you.
  13. I like hearing about your fitness progress, but these parts are always fun too. That sounds like a really cool class and for the record- my husband and I were "just friends" for quite a while before we got together. He's still my best friend...and now I want pizza.
  14. A lot of people focus on weight loss first then building up muscle, but you can do both. Strength training actually helps with the weight loss anyway, so no matter what, you win. It is tremendously difficult for a women to really "bulk up". It won't happen if that's not what your trying to do. You can definitely build strength and still have a healthy, feminine figure. I love how you've set up your rewards. Can't wait to see what you get.
  15. Awesome job assessing the situation, making a plan, and winning! Crushing the first week already!
  16. It's not so bad. I don't push myself too much. I have a list of exercises for each day and I do them while hubby and I are watching our show at night. It only takes about half an hour. I'm not trying to be super buff at this point, just slowly building up strength while gaining whatever I can. I didn't get groceries until last night so I won't penalize myself on the food for yesterday. I also had a training call for my business last night so no workout. My rest days aren't set so I can make this one up later this week. I'm still a little low on the food today. I have time to make some of it u
  17. New thread up http://rebellion.nerdfitness.com/index.php?/topic/69050-feowyn-focuses/
  18. I'm so excited for you! Great job!
  19. So excited for you that you reached your goal. Rivendell sounds like a great way to spend the break.
  20. Thanks, my real name is very boring, so I picked this one I got the quote from something my husband said to me one day. I realized I've never really pushed myself (in all kinds of ways) so I really don't know what I can do. As a christian, I believe everyone is made for a purpose and since I may not know what mine is, how could I limit myself?
  21. Hi, Lena! I love your philosophy. It may be a bit easier for some, but I think if you put in the work, you can get there. Your goals look good and it's nice that you're starting in a place where you can be flexible.
  22. For those of you who do't know me. I have been a shrimp all my life. I thought that's just was I was stuck with until Steve told me that wasn't true, so I'm trying to gain some weight and build some strength. Both times after having my last two babies, I got into big trouble. I was very underweight and weak. With #4 on the way I am determined to not let that happen again. Mini Main Quest: Gain as much as possible (muscle and body fat) so I will have reserves when little one arrives probably around late Dec/ early Jan Main Quest: Be able to do things. No more too weak or winded to even pla
  23. Supporting you in the Force, friend. I'm glad you're still able to do a lot of things while recovering.
