  1. Hi I am Lacewood and this is my second challenge (I only got a few weeks into the first). I've just graduated university and taking a gap year before doing my Msc leaving me sitting around home all day everyday. I joined the rebellion because I would really like to change my lifestyle and give myself an energy boost. My main quest is to lose 10lbs by the end of the challenge (baby steps). Quest 1: Have a healthy breakfast every day ie not croissants and brioche. Cereal and fruit or something with eggs sound like good options. Measurement: A = 7 days a week, B = 6 days a week etc Quest 2: Carry out one of the sessions on my yoga DVD daily to improve flexibility. Measurement: A = 7 days a week, B = 6 days a week etc Quest 3: Eat at least 2 portions of fruit a day. I love fruit but never seem to eat it always finding something else to scoff. Measurement: A = 2 fruit, 7 days a week; B = 2 fruit, 6 days a week etc Life Quest: Read a book a week. I love reading especially anything with dragons, but I've got in the habit while at uni of putting everything else before it. Measurement: A = 6 books B = 5 books etc Motivation: I'd love to be able to go out and play sports with my friends but at the moment I just can't keep up and that needs to change.
  2. Thanks for the support guys Things haven't been going quite the way I planned. That's the third week in a row I've had a migraine, add on several coursework deadlines and you can guess not a good week. I did manage to stick to my 1 a week cake shop though I definitely miss them- sooo yummy, but only walked to town once, there are tonnes of excuses, but they are just that- excuses. As for yoga did 2 sessions which is pretty rubbish really but I now have a book containing all sorts so hopefully get better with a physical reminder to get to it. So after week 1... Goal 1- D Goal 2- A Goal 3- E I think that's the equivalent of getting to the volcanic mountain where our fire breather lives and having to double back for a nose peg- next weeks challenge get past the old bridge over the lava.Till then P.S. -this was written monday
  3. Right so, I generally prefer to read about adventures rather then go on them, but that's all about to change. I'm gonna go it! Slay that dragon! or keep it as a pet can't quite decide. Main quest: to fit back into those size 10 jeans, feeling embarrassed on summer holidays is a thing of the past. Goals: -Walk to and from town twice a week instead of getting the bus- there's some nice hills involved there -Me favourite pasties and cakes shop is only to be attended once a week - And finally... to do 5 minutes of yoga a day at the very least Life quest: to give £1 a day to my shark Erik money box so I can go on said holiday Hopefully as my first time this will go alright, my motivation usually sucks so fingers crossed those jeans on the back of the door will keep me going and good luck to everyone else
