  4. Hi, i have been seeing a lot of youtube videos on benefits of meditation and the latest research on meditation. Please suggest some good ways and resources on how to start and some techniques so that i can make it a part of my lifestyle instead of trying for few days and giving up?

  6. I feel the more we try not to think about something, the more we think about it ,, in research this effect is called "Ironic Rebound". I read about it in a book called "The Willpower instinct" http://www.psych-it.com.au/Psychlopedia/article.asp?id=133 so whenever the cravings come up , don't fight it just embrace those feelings and emotions notice how it affects your body and mind and also be aware that the choice to act on those feelings is ours and its important not to act on auto pilot.

  8. being aware is the key, many people don't know about the effects of sugar on the body, and many feel 500 calories from refined flour = 500 calories from brocolli , i know i use to think that way. and when it comes to children everyone should take responsibility.

  10. i like to keep it simple too as you suggested, and my primary goal is to loose body fat. i have started seeing good results after cutting down on processed foods , soda and sugar. lost 17 lbs in 2 months.
  11. Cannot agree more El, even i have my simple sugars after a workout, but the problem is that sugar is everywhere even in stuff which is not sweet and the latest research shows that sugar is addictive.
