  1. Sorry everybody! I haven't participated in these challenges! I've just been really busy to get on and update or read anything! I'll help out on the 3rd challenge when it comes out, and sorry again! I could've been a better help! Cya next week!
  2. Hey everybody! My real name's Jordan, 19 years old, live in Texas, and I'm getting out of homeschool/high school in June. My only real hobby right now is working out and exercising. And thats pretty much everything thats interesting about me so far, besides the fact I'm a huge Maplestory fan! My goals for this 6-week challenge is to overall eat 100% paleo, run 2-3 times a week, and get to 13% body fat. Thats it for me. Its nice to meet you all! I hope we all get to become friends as we challenge and support each other in this squad! And my only take on the name of the squad is that the power level should be OVER 9000!!

    Hey Spezzy, you forgot me.
  5. I'm Pumped up and ready to GO!!! http://nerdfitness.com/community/entry.php?4521-Rainbow-Badge-Challenge
  6. Hahahaha! Long story. I took my home gym apart and measured an individual weight: 4.5 pounds. I wasn't that weak so I used 2 of them making a total of 9 pounds. Now I've gotten into this groove of doubling everything when it gets too easy.
  7. Hey guys! I was doing some military presses with weights and want to know something from you weight lifters! When you first started lifting, how much weight did you start on? I started out with about 9 pounds, should people just be starting off with 100 lbs? Right now I'm interested in how our muscles adapt to the amount of weight we stress on them. So is lifting heavy make the muscles adapt faster? I really appreciate it!
  8. Boulder Badge Challenge Complete!! Fitness/Diet Goals: 1. Eat Paleo Style all day everyday. C+ Although I drank whey protein shakes, I did this correct for around 3 weeks, and then I saw my results just plateau! So I started carb cycling and it busted that plateau right through! 2. Get to my level 3 which is: 20 Pullups, 60 Pushups, 60 Crunches, 60 squats, 7:30 min mile. I got to 10 pullups last time, maybe I can double it again! D- I got to 60 Pushups, and 60 squats. But only 11 pullups and 8:29 min mile. I didn't double my running or my pullups but I sure did learn a lot! Heehee 3. Create a great workout regimen that combines what I've learned from the Rebel Fitness guide and the Running guide. D- Man!! This was too hard!!! I got obsessed trying to learn about which exercises were best and which weren't. So I said whatever and went back to the guide. 4. get to 15% body fat (Thats right, I have a scale now(probably not that accurate but it works)) A+ OH YEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!! HAha I definitely got to 15%!! And now I'm going to 10%!!! Life Goals 1. Learn how to drive well.... Yeah this is pathetic... B 2. Buy Christmas presents for my family (This is actually really hard for me, I have no idea why...) A+ Oh yeah! I found this really cool site Vat19.com. And theres these cool little inventions and gadgets that I know my family will enjoy!! 3. Finish stupid homeschool!! B+ Oh yeah! Got my butt back in gear! Now I take pre-workouts for school and not workouts! 4. Stop being Lazy. A- Booyah! Fought this off pretty darn well if I don't say so myself. Overall: C+ This was a hard challenge looking back now. I had to miss workouts and dieting every 2 weeks or so because of the funeral, thanksgiving, and get to togethers with family. For the next challenge I wanna be more like ROCKY!!! Right now I think I'm going into the stage of my life where things just randomly motivate me to do crazy things! I'll be back. (I think that was Arnold....)

  10. Update #Oh Yeah! YESS!!! I did it! All my exercises just went up!!! HAHA YEAAAHH!! Got my pushups to 60!! and my crunches and squats to 60 too. I am so happy! and now im depressed because my chin ups went down..... i can't seem to get out of 8... this sucks! I used to do 10 for max.... well i did only workout on monday so thats probably why.... oh well. Anyway, for preparation for next week I'm not gonna have any caffeine(have it everyday) because its really making me jittery. Peace
  11. Yeah your right. That was a little too much. Thats the last time I have 2 kinds of laxatives in the same day... I just wish i knew that before the day started. :,
  12. Update: third times the charm. Yesterday was good, finished 3 weeks worth of school at the library and right after I went over to the gym and did some moderate exercise. I got a huge pump from it though and felt great. Today is my fasting day and already I feel weak and also I feel shaky.... really really shaky. Like my hands won't stop shaking right now.... no idea why... idk if i can do this but im gonna try. Im gonna run later on today. I'm gonna drink all these detox drinks with 0 calories just to see what happens! Haha Its gonna be awesome! I got a laxative tea right now, a liver detox tea later, and then I'm gonna get a cayenne pepper shot. my dad did it the other day and he had to go the bathroom all day. so that'll bbe really interesting HAha Wish me luck!
  13. Ok, I think I know what the problem is now... I don't eat before my workout... so I must be working too hard. Thx a bunch
  14. Today =) I did it. I haven't been able to workout like today in a while it seems. Heres today's workout I did: 5 sets of 20 pushups and crunches, 10 sets of 5 assisted chinups, 4 sets of 16 deadlifts and 16 military presses. It took me a lot longer than I originally planned, but it worked out in the end. After that I ran 2 miles, no improvement in my time but whatever. Actually I feel like a total idiot for wearing pants and a sweat shirt over my shorts and shirt. My shorts would fall down under my pants and I'd have to dig for them so I could run. So imagine your driving to work and you catch a glimpse of some goof ball runner digging in his pants and picking them up.... wouldn't that be weird and disturbing? that was me..... words can't describe how stupid i feel.... Oh well, my workout was so good today that I couldn't feel let alone use my arms for running. It was pretty sweeeeet!! Diet seems to be going well, but when I got back from running I had some raw asparagus because I felt so sick to my stomach, there was nothing else! Does anyone know why I feel so nauseous after working out and running. Anyway I hope my workouts get me to 60 reps! Haha
