  1. THIS SOUNDS AWESOME! I'm gonna try it next week for family dinner...nom nom nom
  2. I make stuffed mushrooms with it...I made some that were paleo friendly, I brown the sausage, when its almost done i throw in diced red onions to cook with it and diced up jalepenos and then I make sure to drain the grease and I used eggs as a binder and stuffed the mushrooms with it and baked at 350 for approximately 20 mins. I have in the past also put freshly grated parmesean on top of it towards the end to let it crisp up and give a bit of a crust...
  3. My dog personally loves this part as a treat with his food...
  4. I do a pretty basic salsa, tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, lime, garlic and serranos... ( i like them because they have a better flavor than jalepenos IMO). Sometimes I chop everything up, sometimes I take out my trusty food processor, sometimes i use my mortar and pestal and sometimes I add fruit to it...(peaches, mangos, strawberries, apples...[not all together])
  5. Hi everyone! I just started my adventure in paleo/primal eating as of March 10th. My goal is to see how I feel and do for 30 days. I've been scouring the internet for recipes etc and I find a lot of things that I'm unsure are Paleo/Primal and I want to see everyones thoughts... A lot of people use arrowroot powder as a thickening agent or in place of flour in recipes... I'm not sure how I feel about it. I almost feel like it's cheating, or rather defeating the purpose of taking this route as a style of eating and I would love some experienced input/opinions. Thanks!
