Dr and Nutritionist agree another 50 lbs is not an unrealistic goal....so that is what I am aiming for. But I don't just want to focus on the weight I want to focus on the body fat and muscle mass. I go to an intergrated health center so they can do body imaging for fat percentages....was not happy with the numbers but using the knowledge to keep me focused and motivated!! -
Ok, so joined NF, completed all missions and am considering this day one of never again being tired, cranky, lost or just feeling phfft!! While I know all of the above will still happen, it won't be because of what I am eating, the fact that I am not working out or just because those jeans sitting in my closet are still too tight! 50 lbs to go...and am looking forward to the challenges and benefits I will be creating for myself. Wish me luck nerdsters....it's gonna be a bumpy ride....but in the end a less bumpy body so it's all good

Hi, wow great job so far...very impressive. I am new on here also and agree this is so much better for us introverted folks than trying to go to a gym. Keep up the great work....I too hope to do a full pushup...no more knees... -

Thanks for the positive reinforcement..... -
Ok, so this is my first post...but most definitely not my first rodeo when it comes to fitness. I used to be pretty good at maintaining a healthy weight and a decent workout routine. Then, as Steve would say SH** happened, and it all got away from me. It's true as you get older, it gets harder...unless of course you never stopped. Unfortunately, I did stop..gained lots of weight and am now struggling to get it off. I lost 50 lbs, but have another 50 to go, and am struggling with working a steady program into my crazy work schedule. That's my story...that and the fact that I have been a nerd since before the word was coined and most certainly since before nerdness was cool.
