  1. Im sorry to say this, but It looks like I need to post this on this thread, which was the first post I created here. Due to certain people on this forum, it looks like I need to leave. Im sorry to say this as there are many great people on this site, but I cant handle the stone engraved methods many people follow on this forum. I have gotten a lot of respect, but disrespect has followed as well. Methods that were used by myself and many others with success are being ridiculed by this select group of people. As I leave I ask for only one thing; please open your minds just a little. Even if you dont agree with a program, it is no reason to attack it, especially if it has brought success for many people. To those who supported me and were motivated by me I thank you. I am offering my email here in case any of you have any questions regarding my training and/or need anyhelp, please do not hesitate to contact me at; amarvgr@gmail.com Stay healthy guys. and good luck, Amar.
  2. I started with good behavior, but I had been working out three year prior to that (football). My buddies I train see best results with this program, as it is a short yet intense workout, and we need all the time we can get seeing how we are college students. I would saw do good behavior for two or so months and then switch to solitary confinement if you want to workout more, or just stick with good behavior. How i progress is the following; Do two warm up sets Do three sets of each exercise, all same amount of reps using a 2-1-2 tempo Add reps each workout until I hit progression move on
  3. There are 5 more progressions before pushups that you can milk out to get muscular gain. I did not say I just got gains from wall pushups, maybe you didnt understand that part though, I was stating that I saw gains from the exercises leading up to full pushups. Simply put, it worked for me and it has worked for others, so I am simply telling people the results I got. If you got results from other stuff that good for yu, but I dont see why you are attacking a workout that has helped many people. If you dont like it then dont like it and dont do it, but if someone else want the information and wants to give CC a shot then let them do that. As for you doubting the results I got, what gives you the right? I got those results and so I will tell everyone who asks what my results were. As for you judging me on the internet, I have nothing to say as I have been nothing but polite to everyone on this forum, and there is absolutely no reason I would lie on a forum.
  4. You dont need to take 5 months to progress. Basically, you do an exercise until you hit the progression standards. For wall push ups you do two-three sets and keep adding reps until you hit 50x3, and then you move on. It took me 2 training days to hit 50x3, and I was doing full pushups in two months. If you can gain muscle from an easier exercise why not do it? I saw improvements in my upperbody before I hit basic pushups by following the progressions, and I had been lifting weights for three years prior to CC. Seems like CC gets more hate on this website than it deserves. Are there other programs out there? Yes, but what convict conditioning has done for me and many others is proof that the routine works. If you can gain muscle and tighten up your form doing kneeling pushups, than why not do that exercise? A little time of working on the easier exercises sets you up for a lifetime of gains. After all, fitness is a lifetime pursuit.
  5. While to book is a great resource and I recommend it, it is not the only way. 1/2 workout is very doable though, especialy with the convict conditioning workout! Al kavadlo has some pretty decent routines out there, but IMO convict conditioing is a great place to start the pursit for advanced bodyweight strength in a limited time. With college right now, I barely have an hour of free time, so I to have gone back to the basics and am following one of the CC templates(the craziest one, solitary confinement). Let me show you a basic split Paul Wade outlines in CC for beginners or those who want to build strength/muscle in a limited amount of training time, it called "good behavior": Monday: Push up progressions 1-2warm up sets, 2-3 working sets leg raise progressions 1-2 warmup sets, 2-3 working sets Tuesday: Rest Wednesday: Pull up progressions 1-2warm up, 2-3 working sets Squat progressions 1-2 warm up, 2-3 working sets Thursday: Rest Friday: Handstand progressions 1-2 warm up sets, 2-3 working sets Bridge progression 1-2 warm up sets, 2-3 working sets Weekends: rest As you can tell, very low volume, so it is very easy to complete in under 30 minutes while still getting stronger and building muscle.
  6. One handed dips, very hard and require a great deal of balance and core strength, along with tons of upper body strength. Only seen one person do it in real life and the woman who did it had triceps of steel!
  7. I see this problem frequently with Heavyweight wrestlers, football players, and throwers. It is very easy to stay agile and mobile at a heavy weight when you have a coach breathing down your neck and the time to workout 3-4 hours a day, but once you leave those sports and enter the real world it is a massive change! 4 hours training is no longer a luxury you have, and all of a sudden 300 pounds seems VERY heavy. ANd the worst part is once you start losing that weight, your lifts go down in weight. It is very bad for confidence. But advanced Calisthenics is that thing that will get you stronger as you drop weight. Good luck my friend! if you need any help feel free to ask!
  8. "Eight theories of Religion" more specifically the chapter about Karl Marx. Man was amazing, to bad people only associate him with Soviet communism, when in reality his theories on government were amazing! Sad to see people misunderstand his work.
  9. Absolute garbage IMO. I am really into reading books that expand my knowledge, but this book it trash. How is it so popular? It basically says rape, genicide and murder happens to people because of "their negative thoughts" and because they visualized it happening. How is this book so famous?
  10. I write scripts. My epic quest in life is to make my own animated feature film and start my own studio. I have 4 finished scripts just sitting in my shelf, waiting for the opportunity to become films. As for music I listen to while doing it, it depends on the script. My dark comedy script about a mortician used classic halloween music, fun yet spooky. My horror/drama script I used the soundtrack to sweeny todd, more specificly "No place like london" because my story took place in london. For my current script I use the theme for "once upon a time"
  11. Sith life is the life for me! Peace is a lie, there is only passion through passion, I gain strength Through strength, I gain power through power, I gain victory through victory, my chains are broken the force shall free me some of the Jedi rules seem self destructive to me, especially the love one. I think the sith code had Marxist philosophy in it, and it certainly pumps me up for action! And while I understand that the sith are villians in the movie seres, arent the jedi basically sell outs in the prequels? Isnt that what brings their downfall?
  12. SO im a freshman in college, and I will be taking an art class next semester. I am going to major in Animation (emphasis in story and direction), but the problem is I suck at drawing and I want to start getting better now. Problem is I dont know how to approach this! I got the book drawing on the right side of the brain, but is that a good book for someone who just wants to learn how to draw pixar/dreamworks like cartoons? Any other resources out there to help me out? Here is some crap I drew the other day file:///Users/amarnagra/Pictures/Scan%208.pdf (need to copy and paste it)
  13. I tried that once, tore them in so many places with just one vault, at least I ran home so no one can get a good look at my spongebob boxers.
  14. Uneven pushups. Help you move on the half one arm pushups
  15. The master moves are what in my opinion you need to master before you move on to master other advanced moves. Of course the one handed handstand push ups are legendary and have not been seen yet. But the others still stand as is.
