  1. Thank you!! Adding both in with next weeks workouts :-)
  2. So I met with a personal trainer this week for the first time in my life. Great experience....but the cost is waaaay above my pay grade so it's one and done. However the awesome thing that came out of it was finding the sticking spot on my squats.... Which is at the bottom. I didn't realize how weak I was with the sticking spot and I believe it's causing other issues i.e. Slight knee pain as I rise up. So my question is, how do I essentially gain strength so my sticking spot won't...well stick?
  3. Hello lady nerds! I've had the best results with the pec deck/butterfly. They can be done on a machine (stationary or cable...I prefer cable) or with dumbbells. GL and congrats on the weight loss!
  4. You guys rock! Thx for all the great advice. I
  5. Thanks El! Form was the first thing I checked...all good in that dept.
  6. Some 3x5 when I'm feeling pain (mainly on squat, can't get over 120) but my focus was to keep the weight as high as I could and do 5x5. Squat 110 Bench 55 Row 70 Overhead 55 Deadlift 110
  7. Thank you! I need to accept the fact the de-loading will help me get stronger...I've worked so hard to get to the weight I'm at I need to check my ego and deload to keep improving.
  8. Hello Fellow Nerds! So I've been doing SL 5x5 for about 4-5 months and I've reached my first plateau...and now I'm stuck. I cannot add more weight as I'm starting to get some very minor injuries (strains really) and my form is starting to suffer a bit. My question is...where do I go from here? Deload? Stay at my current weight and add more reps? Add different strength training exercises? Any advice is appreciated!
