  1. 1st mini challenge : - Is your overall quest achievable (over a short or long period of time)? Yup minimum time to be spent on level 2 of P2 : 4 weeks - Do your 3 quests all build towards your main quest in little ways, or are you taking on too much? Do your quests have sub-quests or is it just one thing to focus on? All goals are meant to help with my gymnastic style training, they are clear goals with no sub-goals - Are your main goals realistic? Can you scale them to smaller steps to fit your life better, even if it will make it take a little longer to achieve them? clearly achievable and not really they are already scaled. - Are your goals able to be measured and tracked? What will you use to track them? 1 video every 2 weeks starting monday 20th for P2. I'll come regularly on the foum to say if my other goals are on track. - How are you grading your goals? Are they pass/fail (“every dayâ€, “not even once over the six weeksâ€)? Is there a reward for the effort, or are you only grading yourself on whether or not you “lose the weight†or “run the distanceâ€? Clearly pass or fail : those workouts will be done or there will be pain/injury to justify it, not half assed work admitted here. Same thing for the stretching session. The harder part here will be to be in bed in bad at a given hour, so let's say that : - 2 days a week late is a B - 3 days a wekk late is a C - Else is failed for the week - What is your plan for continuing/altering/grading those goals if you become ill or injured? Different scenarios : wrist pain : diminish do half of the work for each session, add some rehab other area : well it'll depend of the exact situtation Did you take into consideration any special occasions (Labour Day, Independence Day, birthdays, anniversaries, etc) that may occur during the challenge? What modifications do you need to build into your goals for those? Post exam party shall end after 10:30, but i suppose there's no problem with this one no other special event Do any of your main goals conflict with each other? Will one goal make it hard to do another? nop Do you already have the time in your schedule to actually complete the goals you’ve set? If not, what are you planning to do to make time for them? Timing : 2 hours before supper, 1 after for flexibility. Are you trying to build multiple habits, or is all your energy focused on your main quest? Multiple habits but with one common goal.
  2. Hi man cool goals, i'll follow you I wonder where does your name come from ? I'm a fan of david gemmell's books so... Maybe you know what i'm talking about
  3. Definitely following you man ! Really impressive goals here, i think you already have the strenght to do the muscle ups. Have you tried the no handed ones ? I found it easier to achieve than a normal false grip one.
  4. Following you man ! When will you do the spartan race ?
  5. Followed ! Your P-bars looks really cool !
  6. Hi there! My main goal here will be to end the cycle: Fast progress -> overtraining/injury -> get back to work. I really tend to do too much when I train/not do the right things. Last example: I’m right now doing the Parallettes 2 program from Gold Medal Bodies. Over the course of the last four weeks, I stopped training for 2 weeks due to wrists pain caused by planche training. So here comes the challenge: 1. Finish the 2nd cycle of the program before the end of the 6 weeks, which mean mastering : Planche lower to double arm leverArm lever spinStraddle L sit to handstand (bent arm)Handstand to L-sitAnd of course the almighty handstandWithout injury/pain. I’ll take videos every 2 weeks so you can judge my progress In order to do that, I’ll try to listen more to my body and stop before overtraining. 2. Accomplish the Focused Flexibility program for the full 6 weeks, more details on this tomorrow. I often let go of the flexibility training whereas it’s really an important component for a healthy body. 3. Let’s not forget the lower body training : Follow the following program for the next 6 weeks : 1 session of http://www.fitnessblender.com/ workout on Tuesday, level 4 or 5. 1 squat routine on thursday. 1 running session on Saturday. 4. These goals will only be valid if I’m unhurt and feel no pain at the end of the 6 weeks which mean good recovery: I shall be in my bed, ready to sleep at 10:30 pm each day. And I’m gonna end with the most important : during the next 6 weeks I’m not gonna add anything to that program : no additional session, no program added etc. Will be permitted: having fun on the rings, but I shall stop before feeling tired. Counting on you for accountability, ideas and serious fun ! PS : Because i love johnny depp and i'm a vampire :
  7. Welcome to you comrades, if you want, we can create a guild together !
  8. Hi there, I found this on the net : https://habitrpg.com. I hope it'll help you with your everydaylife even if it's not as good as the 6-week challenge i guess .
  9. Hi there ! I don't know if i'm in the right place to ask that but assuming i've not found any better places, i'll post it there ! For... 2 months i guess i've got a problem with the internal/anterior part of my right hips. Each time i train a bit hard on things like L-sit, tuck jumps and even more with straddle L-sit, i feel quite a pain there. I wanted to know if anyone had got such pain and what he had done to get rid of it ! Thanks a lot for your answers ! PS: Of course i'll see a doctor in few time if i don't find a solution but since the pain disappear right after the end of the movement, i thought that it could wait ^^
  10. It seems that my phone doesn't like water as much as i do..

    1. The King of Lame

      The King of Lame

Tell it to man up and smack it around a bit. That's how it works in the movies.

  11. OK ! So let's see if that vampire went out without burning... or at least if he survived to it. Thirst news is : YES, he survived, other way he wouldn't be there to write this down. I think we can clearly find 2 distinct parts in that challenge : First part : before my exams : Study took most part of my days and i'm really proud to say that i succeded on that first point. Even if i don't know if results are there at the end. I'll tell you as soon as i know. I also trained quite much my handstand except when i got wrists pain. So for this two goals I would give myself an A ! But, because everything can't be that good, I failed the third goal (wich for reminder was to eat healthy) : far too much cakes, not enought fruits and vegetables : This one is failed. Second part : after my exams : I came back to my usual way of life during holidays : Welcone to WoP : World of procrastination . Though it's okay to do so for some days, but i'll need to come back to something more productive at least at the end of the next week ! During that last weeks, I let go lots of handstand trainings... Let's punish myself I'm goingto do 3 attempts right now. Not brilliant ^^. So I would say that my effort is worth a D. But, because everything can't be that bad, I ate really well during this period and that is worth another A. So : 1) Work 11hours a day for 4 weeks. Done 2) I also told a friend i would got the handstand before the exams so i'll work 15min a day for 6 weeks, doing : handstand facing the wall, handstand back to the wall and free hansdtand. I'll also work on my forearm and wrists that are my biggest weaknesses. ( if you have some advices about that you're welcome !!) Failed 3) Skin is just a reminder for health care during that hard weeks and is improved eating fruits at each meal and taking cold shower. Failed So, to conclude the preface of the history of our little vampire, after weeks of hard work (or not), he did found a way to go out but this one only works on saturday between 3h p.m. and 7h p.m., if he crawl on the floor singing this song : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jofNR_WkoCE. So he'll need to continue his research but he's on the right track ! Oh ! I barely forgot because it sounds obvious to me but i'll join the secret guild of assassins.
  12. Hi there ! I really need to udapte things there. ^^ Thanks all and yeah exams were... ok, but i don't know if it'll be enought. First year is pretty thought. I don't train handstand more than once or twice a day and i don't see that much progress but.. i know it's slow ! Last and maybe best point my mother stopped with cakes (or nearly) maybe she thought i needed this to study... So I eat far more fruits ans such things. Maybe i should be carefull next time she cooks on sunday. Ok, i'll take care of that. So i'm on holydays for... 3months and a half now And i train for a "StrongmanRun" like !! Oh and last point i also took my driving test yesterday, i should get the answer before tuesday !
  13. Hi there ! Exams are tomorrow so i get a little extra rest today and... let's go !
  14. Still studying a lot, still training my handstand (even if i don't see that much progress but i know that it's slow)... And still eating cakes, seriously my mother never did so much cake in a month, and when she doesn't cook it she buy it... or my grandma does.
  15. Well... Not at all ! My problem is more... you know when your mother love to cook cakes and such things, and very often..
  16. Wow, seems I didn't give news for a while now ! I work a lot, not long away from my 11hours if it's not more. For the handstand i focus more on getting in the right position with my kick... wich is very hard. But when i got it i can stay upside down until the muscles of my wrists give up... And they hurt a bit so i don't train that much every day, but progress is there. Last and maybe worst part : health. I used to eat well at my appartment but now at home with parents it's quite harder..
  17. Come on bro !! The beginning is the harder part !! If you don't want to go to the gym, do some bodyweight routine, or run, or walk... MOVE YOUR BODY !!
  18. Well... I'm not a big fan of arts so... For me this would be an awesome way to give a meaning to this WTF rock ! Of course, in order to respect the scultpor you may have to do it without shoes, and if you find another place practice use it, you should give priority to this one... Take a picture of your training please. I'm sure you could do funny photo there !
  19. Ah !! So i'm not the only one here to love these books ! Right now I feel more like Azoth at the begining... or after a bit of training maybe.
  20. Hi, I was reading... Batman comics just before founding your thread I love this awesome guy too. Are you woking well ?
  21. Ah I was wondering if there was any elder scrolls fan here... Found at least one !! Good luck for your pull up goal !
