  1. Count on it. I'm pretty happy to pursue the skills of an assassin, and that just makes the next challenge all the more exciting.
  2. Sadly, nope, I still couldn't do it. It was far closer than I ever could have gotten before the challenge, but I couldn't make it. I feel a wee bit frustrated, but, all things considered, I feel pretty damn good. So, I just want to say, thanks, to all of you. Every single one, when you came through with support, and advice, I depended on it, when I felt terrible, and like I should stop the challenge, you all were there, always helpful and encouraging. I even feel excited for the next challenge, it'll be fun. I'm going to keep with the workout, and the pull-ups, and, some day soon, I'm going to suceed, BELIEVE IT!
  3. I actually lost track of time, working on my goals just kinda became a routine. I had thought there was another week or so. It feels good to have made it out the other side. I feel great about pretty much everything. Thanks to the regular workout, I think Im probably in the best shape I've been in for a loooooooooooong time. Heck, I'm probably gonna keep doing them, because, call me crazy, I kinda enjoy them. Finished the second book about a week ago, I had anticipated that I could make it farther, but, y'know, life has a way of eating up time. I was pretty sure from the start that the hardest goal would be the pull-up, and I've made it much closer than ever, but I haen't done it yet. However, if I haven't screwed up, this last day is a pull-ups day for me, so, I'm going to give it one last try, balls-out, berserk mode that pull-up as my last official workout for the challenge. I'm feeling craaaaaaaaaaaaazy stomach butterflies. Time to pump that Rocky theme. See you all on the other side(i.e. a few seconds from now).
  4. I'm feeling really good. Each individual part of the workout is waaaaaay than it was at the start. The assisteds are moving along, getting better and better. However, I have to admit as the end of the challenge looms, actually doing that pull-up less than three weeks from now... its much more intimidating.
  5. Just finished doing my first set of 3, its not harder in the same way that the assisted pull-ups are harder than the BW rows. Its still the same thing, it just wears on me more
  6. The bodyweight workouts been getting easier over time, I may soon (knock on wood) need to move up to doing 3 sets.
  7. Yeah, I did assisted pull-ups for the first time yesterday. phew, they are definitely tougher, but doing them gives me this feeling of awesomeness. The reading has been an absolute joy, and I understand your love for the Irregulars. Its pretty funny to see a character like Holmes utilizing a band of street urchins to gather information and such.
  8. Yep! Been keeping up with the BW workout, and the rows are getting easier than ever. It may very soon be time to move on to assisted pull-ups. In addition, I've already finished the first book, and am just about to start the second.
  9. Thanks, and I'll be looking forward til that day comes.
  10. Slow but steady, I've been doing 3 sets of 8 bodyweight rows every other day. It's definitely coming easier than it did at the start. It didn't take very long for me to realize I should alternate between the bodyweight workout and the rows.
  11. Thanks for the resource, I'm glad to take any advice offered. I'll be sure to keep the assassins close in mind during these upcoming weeks.
  12. Thanks, I'll keep these resources at hand. I don't want to dive into the pool just yet, but assassin has been an othion I've leaned towards. Its just kind of naturally appealing to me. If I have any questions, you can be sure I'll ask the assassins.
  13. Thats a fantastic idea. I'll look around for others interested, and who knows, maybe something will come up. Best of luck to you, too.
  14. Hey, thanks a ton for the suggestion. I always have trouble figuring out where to go next after I finish a book. I ready for an awesome, challenging six weeks.
  15. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind when doing daily workouts. Good luck with the pull-ups, cause I'm right there with ya.
