  1. My wrists are killing me when I do pushups or just lean on them in general really. Especially my right one. Can anyone suggest some wrist exercises to stregthen them? Thanks!

  3. After not going to the gym since Xmas and then feeling super intimidated when going to the gym due to weight gain, I finally made it yesterday! Walked in with my head held high and didn't leave until I was done, not even when I felt silly in front of the really fit people. Just kept reminding myself that I knew what I was doing and everyone falls off the bandwagon every now and again. Small achievement but WHOOT WHOOT Hitting it back up today and going to give it 110%
  4. Thanks Zahira for the ideas. It is pretty much all down time inbetween calls. During the day it isn't so bad as it is getting super busy here so there is always calls coming in. I find that nightshift is when I crack. I have actually been pretty good tonight as I have been on here and having a look at paleo recipes on the internet but I will have a go at reading/ drawing as well to pass the time and see how it goes!
  5. Hi all, I'm new to this (only just signed up!) but have been seriously thinking about changing my diet for quite a while now. I work shift work taking emergency 000 (911) calls, doing 12 hour shifts that requires me to be attached to the headset and my desk pretty much the whole time. I find that I boredom/stress eat alot if it is a quiet or crazy busy shift and I have tried calorie counting, only eating every 3 hours and all that jazz! I almost always end up eating all my healthy snacks that I have brought to work and eventually give up and go to the little snack bar that is set up in the kitchen and grab a packet of chips or chocolate bar as there is nothing healthy available. If anyone has any good snack ideas or ideas that can help to curve my boredom/stress eating then that would be great! Thanks!!
