  1. This week I've found a great eating routine. I'm a creature of habit, so finding and cooking new recipes every week wears me down. I start with an Almond butter and honey sandwich (The bread is the best stuff I could find at Safeway) I know it's not paleo but it works for me, then I take a veggie medley bag for lunch and snacking, it's like chips but healthier, and for dinner it's oven baked frozen chicken and a veggie steamer. I'm trying to put more exercise in my day by parking farther away from stores. Sleep is once again my worst enemy. I joined a new mincraft server based in Europe so I'm constantly up at night playing. I need to do better this next week. My mom wants to start eating paleo. Some would say yay but not me. Whenever my mom starts a diet it basically means she wants me to do all the recipe research, shopping, and cooking. It often frustrates me into quitting because it just becomes to much work.
  2. I'm going to add a week on my challenge for the one I missed
  3. I failed my challenge this week. I didn't due anything after Saturday because I felt depressed over my best friend moving out of the country. I'm getting back to it though feeling a bit better today. I'm going to call my therapist to set up an appointment tomorrow though.
  4. So it's been another week since I started the challenge, I'm trying to get back on schedule after my vacation. I didn't go to sleep last night at 10 but I did get up at 7 this morning. I've been messing up my sleep a lot though, other than last night I've slept in a few times when I shouldn't have. I've been good on my diet and I'm even learning to like black coffee so I can stop adding creamer. I need to push myself in exercise more, I think maybe having a set amount of time to exercise would work better, as of now I do as many push-up, chair squats, jumping jacks, etc. as I can one time and call it good.
  5. Hi everyone! Sorry for the late first week update. I was on vacation from Tuesday to Friday and was just lazy Saturday. I made a conscious decision not to follow my diet plan through my vacation, I was on a budget and didn't want to spend time worrying about it. I'm having trouble with squats, I just can't seem to get my form right or I fall over. Other than that I'm getting stronger. I'm sleeping fine and at times beating my alarm in waking up. I fill my days the best I can to stop naps from happening. Right now I've started The Game of Thrones series and Geocaching. I'm keeping up with my schoolwork but the teacher is not happy with what I produce. I'm sure I'll pass and then I won't have to deal with English class ever again.
  6. I'd love to be your accountibilibuddy. I'm from Tacoma, WA and am 19 years old. I'm at around 300lbs myself and would like to lose it to be fit enough for parkour. I'm fine with competition but don't own a working scale at the moment so weight lose by numbers won't work but I'm up for anything else.
  7. I'm an obese person. There's no getting around that. I weigh over 300lbs stand 5'10 and am only 19 years old. I've seen what poor diet and exercise have done to my parents. My mom is on more medication than anyone else I know and can barely do day-to-day tasks. Even my dad, who is pretty skinny has had a mini-stroke due to bad diet. I want to really live while I'm alive. I want to travel and do parkour. The only way to do that is to stop what I'm doing and make healthy changes. Main goal: To get fit enough to join a Krav Maga class. Side goals: Eat Paleo (I will have coffee creamer once a day) Do bodywieght exercise every other day Go to bed at 10PM and wake up at 7AM. This shouldn't be hard It's actually sleeping in, I just finished working in a place where I woke up at 5AM and went to bed at 10PM. Life goal: Keep up with schoolwork.
