Hello! I'm elofan and I teach early childhood special education. This is my first challenged and first post at Nerd Fitness. I'm excited about this challenge because I've hit a plateau recently in my attempts to get more healthy. I thought a little quasi-public accountability might help. Goal 1: Lose 10 pounds. This is part of a much bigger goal, but I was able to knock off 10 pounds in the first three months of this year. Then I got lazy and unfocused. It is time to change that. Goal 2: Keep a food diary -- and keep in accurately. This is tied to #1. I was doing this well for a while and then I let it slide away. If I don't have to write down what I'm eating, I'm not mindful about it. Goal 3: Meditate for at least 10 minutes 6 days per week. This is something I try off and on, but I want it to stick this time. If I can do it for 6 weeks, it should be a well established habit. Side Life Quest: I want to start decluttering and getting rid of possessions using the KonMari method. This isn't something I can complete in this 6 weeks, but I want to get through cull clothing, books, media and food in the next 6 week. Thanks, y'all.
