  1. We buy delicious marrow-y beef bones from the farm we get almost all our meat from locally. The best part is it's like $2/pound for them!!!
  2. After applying at many departments over the past 3 years, I was offered a full time position at a fire department in KY!! Finally getting to start my dream career! Now we just need to find wifey a job in Lexington and all will be wonderful

  8. Weighed in this morning at 274.8! woot because A. I met my weight goal for the 6 week challenge, B. I haven't weighed this in at least 4 years...I can't believe that in 2009 I was 325 and now i'm hear with a lot of momentum carrying me forward!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!
  9. Sorry so delayed, Final weight 282 Final Squat 280# Mile time: 10'52" Credit card balance = $0 So a bit of victory, got a bit derailed during the challenge and I think that set me back a bit. Still record low weight, record high on squat & did pay off a credit card. Thanks for the encouragement everyone
  10. ok after more than a few days off the rails, i'm back on track and chugging. Squats today worked back up to 275 x 8, also threw some bench press in and set a new pr at 165x6. Also back to running, just a mile but did it in 12'06" which isn't bad after being off for like 2 weeks. Thanks for the encouragement
  11. So really busy week, TONS of stress between work & family (I work as a paramedic and had multiple critical calls this week, one close to home), ha resulted in me not eating the best or exercising much at all. blagh

  13. ok so worked out today, new pr for squats 275#s x 8 reps x 2 sets. holy cow batman!! I love that I can squat my goal weight, which by the way as of my weigh in this morning i'm only 9 pounds away from hells yeah!
