  1. I found an interesting article about a concept the author called the 'workout singularity' http://liveharder.wordpress.com/2012/09/04/how-to-hit-the-workout-singularity/ I was curious what you NF folks though of this concept and how to reach it.
  2. This. I for awhile just tried to do 5-10 minutes of yoga at the begining of the day and got significant improvements in the span of weeks. My Tae Kwon Do improved significantly as a result of it too.
  3. I see in the druid circle you've been doing yoga focused on hips and back recently. I've been going through a ten minute (approx) exercise with an android app called daily yoga for abs and after a bit of trying to do that every day after awhile I noticed I accidentally quite a bit more core strength. It was like I suddenly broke out of a plateu and in my TKD class I was able to do my kicks a lot better even though I'd been struggling to improve them for many months with little visible progress. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=androidcap.dailyyoga.abs&hl=en I also randomly try to do a few handstands occasionally before or after my TKD class.
  4. <3 hope you have a wonderful day today baby!

  5. hmm when i went to it earlier it just had some text about maximum number of connections exceeded. Works for me too now though.
  6. your second link isn't working just fyi since it seems like that might be your site.
  7. I like both my thoughts are free and the assassin's creed one.

  9. I'm in. http://nerdfitness.com/community/entry.php?4266-March-5-challenge Hope this goes better than the burpee challenge I tried to do recently.
  10. Thank you for the suggestions everybody. Here is what I ended up going with. http://nerdfitness.com/community/entry.php?4266-March-5-challenge Walking is a good thought but I don't own a car and already do that. I also take the stairs at work all the time but am not ready to commit to 11 flights of stairs at home.
  11. just found out that this: http://www.edge-online.com/unity-competition lines up pretty much dead on with the next challenge. I think I know what the life goal part of my challenge is going to be, just need to figure out the fitness to go around that.
  12. I was thinking instead of something flashy that I stop after I finish the challenge, that I could come up with some simple changes I can do every day to work out a little and be more active. For example I am taking the stairs up to the 6th floor for work everday now and another idea is to do one pull up whenever I enter or leave the office at work. Any of you have ideas of simple low-intensity changes that could be made to do every day? I think for the challenge I am going to try and add one small simple thing every week.
  13. Its a bit hard to read the text in the black boxes from this picture.
  14. http://www.proginosko.com/leechblock.html is a good plugin to check out.
  15. to the people suggesting getting additional people working on it. Adding people will not help as much as you think it would, it may even hurt. The people already working on it now have to stop working and get the other people caught up to speed and there is overhead of multiple people working on things and coordinating it and its a huge nightmare. Once somethings already underway we should just ride it out.
