  1. Day 2: Went to the gym- goblet squats, single leg squat with other leg on bench, shoulder press, triceps pushdowns Ate healthy today About 3 hours on computer/TV All told, not a bad day but didn't feel too great about my workout, hopefully after taking tomorrow off I'm del-rested for Saturday
  2. Your journal is awesome, it seems like you're quite a talented writer! Good luck working on those planks, they should get easier the more you do them.
  3. Thanks for the welcome. I'm not exactly sure how I will be measuring my success yet, I might just see if I can get to some new personal bests at the gym. I generally do deadlifts, pull-ups, shoulder press and power cleans regularly, I mix in other stuff too but that's what I really focus on. As for cardio I'll probably start with the stationary bike and move onto running when I can make it longer than a couple of minutes on a bike. Day 1: Went to gym- pullups, chest supported rows, reverse flyes, face pulls, biked 2 miles in 7:56, also mowed lawn for 45 minutes when I got home Ate fairly healthy today, outside of some ice cream while watching TV About 2.5 hours of TV/computer tonight Lifequest- spoke to one of the a supervisor in a different department about interviewing for an open position, interview should be scheduled in the next few days
  4. Hello all, I've been reading these for a while and decided to make my own, hopefully it keeps me on track. Main Quest: To be in the best shape of my life Goals: -to work out at the gym at least 4 times a week with some form of cardio twice a week -to eat and drink healthy 5 days a week -to spend less than 3 hours a day watching TV or on the computer(not counting my job), most of the time when I'm not doing either of these things I end up doing something active which should help me to get in better shape Motivation: To feel comfortable and confident in my skin Life Quest: To find a new job, either a promotion at my company or a new position elsewhere as I feel stagnant in my current position
