  1. Thanks for that. Actually, this post is from August, but if it makes a difference, I did exactly that. And I'm glad, because he did not suicide, and I'm glad I acted then.
  2. Saturday's Report 15th Nov No workout, no parkour, ate a pastry, studied a little. Wounds getting better though. Sunday's Report 16th Nov Muscles are still weak, but the soreness is gone. The back muscles are still quite painful though. Tried working out, did the best I could. A snack at school - one potato samucha - after school work can be very tiring. For lunch I ate a much less amount of rice to make up for it. I was offered a pastry, but I skipped it. Still haven't tried out any parkour or handstands. Studied Physics and Maths. I'm trying not to worsen the back pain, but I'm hopeful that it will gone within the next week. After that, I can increase my reps and start practicing Krav Maga, Parkour and Handstands.
  3. Good goals. which Martial Art are you training in?
  4. Your goals are very well planned. Regarding the beginner's strength workout, don't lost heart. It can be difficult to begin if you're not used to it. Same happened with me. Try starting small. Take two or more rest days if necessary. The most important thing to do is to get your body adjusted with the flow.
  5. It's good to see that despite initial failure you're not giving up. That's a really good thing. You only lose when you stop trying, right? Good luck with the quest.
  6. What kind of exercises do you plan to include in your workout?
  7. Couldn't have said it better myself. Congratulations and keep it up.
  8. "You are only broken in body, not in mind." I hear the calm reassuring voice in the darkness once more. I never see them, but I can now see what they see, feel what they feel. They see someone who was not the best, but is willing to giving all he has. They feel he has a long way to go, but he's on the right path. And they have faith in him, and so they call him. The Shadows and Silence were calling again. I still have my body fat, but there's progress. The layer is thinner than it had been before. The lines of muscles much more visible, standing out against the foreground of lipids. Its only a matter of time. It might be a long time, but its time I have. I might be broken in body, but not in mind. That means I'm still in the game. MAIN QUEST: Embrace the Shadows and Silence 1. Warrior The Warrior Spirit inside now knows it exists. It lusts to grow stronger. I don't plan on going easy on myself this time. Maybe at first, while the injuries still last. But the plan's here, and I plan to work out 2-3 days a week, and also revise the Krav Maga moves. If possible, I'll attend a few classes with the next batches to review in concrete what I had learned. Squats Jump Squats Lunges Wall Sit Finger Pushups Knuckle Pushups Diamond Pushups Standard Plyometric Pushups Plank Six Inch Leg Raise Leg Lifts Crunches Reward: |STR 2|STA 2|CON 1| 2. Appetite For Destruction My mind knows that my body does not need to eat more than it requires. It now desired to assume control of the gluttonous attitude. I don't plan on going full Paleo, but I'll control my carbohydrate intake (which includes most of the goodness here and there). On times that I fail to do so and end up eating a little I'll cut out carbohydrates from other sources. Reward: |CHA 1|CON 1| 3. One Step Closer My body has never been so flexible and fit as it is now. It does not want to stop here. It wants to perform that climb up that it so much desires/ Parkour (Box Jumps, Broad Jumps, Rolling, Vaulting, Climb Ups) at least 4 times a day. Handstands: Practice every day. I still haven't made much progress yet. No progress, to be honest. I'll need a lot of help on this one. I'll be following this guide, for starters: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2013/10/24/how-to-handstand-better-than-luke-skywalker/. Reward: |STR 2| DEX 2| STA 1| CON 1| LIFE SIDE QUESTS: Between The Lines |WIS 2| And that means study, study and a lot of study. Regularly too.
  9. Good News: Nothing's broken, most muscles are recovering Bad News: Back muscle seems to have worsened, doctor told me to lay it off for a while. In the mean time, I am coming up with something. Things will be better by Sunday, I hope, and I'll start with something small.
  10. Doms. That sounds more like it. I'm going for a medical check up tomorrow just to be sure. Don't think of it as that way. Like Thomas Edison would say - you didn't fail, you just found a way that wouldn't work.
  11. Thanks, it's good to be back. Not really, this time I managed to overwork most of my muscles (biceps, triceps, calf, thigh, back, abdomen). Furthermore, I have this really annoying pain in my lower back. I don't think I've broken anything, but it hurts to move, to sit, to lie down... Hell, to even sneeze. On the bright side, it was worth it, since I passed the exam and earned the certificate. My Krav Maga instructor said all injuries should be better after a week, so I'm looking forward towards that.
  12. It's been long since I've been here. It seems I'm already late, but I'll try catching and keeping up. On the other hand, you look like you're doing great. Wish you all the best.
  13. Hey, it's been some time since I logged in. Looking good. Get well soon, and get ready to kick ass again!
  14. I've just decided that I want to hit back to the Rebellion. I'm still working on the goals, and I have time, considering the time I'll need to heal from my injuries suffered in the Krav Maga Exam. I'll think of something, I bet.
