  1. Try some high cacao content dark chocolate. If you get up into the 70-80% range, you still get the "chocolate" hit but its a far healthier solution. Delicious also - once you get used to it, you won't go back to "regular" chocolate. Mike
  2. Personally, I've always been of the view that you should max out as dictated by your weakest link. So here you would be limited by your grip strength. You'd have to improve that before you could move up the weight. Again, its just personal preference but I like to think of my body as a single chain, made up of separate links. You can only go as hard as the weakest one. Mike
  3. Sounds like you're making great progress! Congrats. As you say, time to level up! Mike
  4. The one piece of advice I've got to give regarding push-ups is: don't forget your triceps. I find that working on strengthening your triceps (and improving stability) really helps with your push ups. Sure, you chest is important, but your triceps will fatigue out first. Doug
  5. Did Tough Mudder and loved it. There are a ton of excellent "Mud Run" specific sites out there that will walk you through what equipment you need. It depends on weather, terrain and time of year. Doug
  6. I think, for me, time is the biggest enemy. There's always something else you could be doing rather than getting your sweat on. So having a fall-back routine that you can blast out in 15-20 minutes is really a routine-saver. Otherwise, it's so easy to miss days and start to erode on your healthy habits. Doug
