  1. I think I got my swagger back! Got in a 30 minute run today. I've been going back and forth for a while now, but I'm back at it.
  2. Serrano pepper burn RIGHT in the nose X__X

  3. So, morale bump: I got my prize support in the mail for the story I wrote. Yes folks, I am OFFICIALLY paid for my work!
  4. PROGRESS! I can successfully complete the full Monday exercise. The last week I pushed as far as I could, but now I've got it 1/3 on LOCK!
  5. Got in a run today. I went a bit slower than I would have liked, but I think I can blame getting used to a hardcore workout on this one
  6. And word count is reached. I really think the "hit this many per day" is WAAAAY better for me than "hit this much per week". I make the task immediate rather than "ehh, I'll do that later"...
  7. JUMP JUMP... Imo make this thread JUMP JUMP.. Balian'll make ya JUMP JUMP SO, new year, new you is a popular phrase. Let's turn it into a question: "What's one change you can make this year that will help you up your "reaching goals" game? For me, it's been setting a REALLY annoying alarm JUST out of my reach and wearing workout clothes to bed on workout days. I HAVE to get up otherwise it's just gonna bug me, and when I'm already up AND in workout clothes, I'm running out of excuses as to why I 'Can't' workout that day.
  8. I'll try not to Glass SO, first supercircuit done! This workout I picked is a BUTT kicker! But hey, I SEEM to be getting there, sooo POINTS!
  9. It's been fairly easy so far. I honestly think this is the money thing that will make things awesome. So, coming up to the wire, but I made it to 3300 words. That successfully makes 7/7. TIME FOR A NEW LIST!
  10. Alright. I made a list of 7 things I wanted to get done by today, and I'm currently 6/7! Just got to get some writing done and send it in, and I'm peaches! I have the strangest feeling though Wednesdays are going to gradually get worse as the month goes along
  11. !gasp! People I recognize AND people I don't?! This seems like one of those "Social things" the young kids are all up on Glad to see ERRYone here!
  12. I appreciate the support ERRYone! One of the bigger tasks I have set for this year is "I will write 200,000 words". I'm a writer, that's my jam. I've already gotten kudos and have been published. This is the year I start to make a living off what I love.
  13. One of the next big plans I want to complete is "All Minis I use for my Malifaux game must be primered, based, and painted by Gencon 2015". I'm a big mini guy (Super close to an addiction X__x), and I plan on participating in some of the bigger events at Gencon. Also, I'd just like to have some swank models I can show off and be all "Look at this thing I made!"... and maybe cut a bit into the sea of plastic and pewter that I have I has taken my first step by assembling the metric ton of paint, green-stuff, and other base decorations to totally make things looks pretty. Soon as this weekend drops, totally ready to make something cool happen
  14. Dibs DIIIIBS!!! I'm looking a bit more long term in my goals, so no 6-week for right now, but I'll link to my Battle Log since accountability is something I like and need.
  15. So, I started this the day after my birthday, and as we come up on Thursday, my first week's going pretty good. One of the big tasks I had was "save a minimum of 2000$ this year." I'm HORRIBLE at actually saving money, but I found some metal jujitsu that I think will help. I will set aside a certain number of dollars equal to what week it is (1$ the first week, 2$ the second, etc). By the end of the year, I'll have 1378$. If I double up the first 30 weeks-ish, I'll be right on that 2k$ mark (since I like nice even numbers).
  16. So, its 2015 and I'm back on the wagon. I'm going to try something new this year: I will complete 33 substantial tasks by my 33rd birthday. Each week I will do a minimum of 7 things to get me going in that direction. "Substantial" is a little subjective (One of the tasks is that I want to buya really nice looking blazer and up my clothing game a bit), but at the end of it, I'll be a totally cool beans guy. Since working out is on the list, let's post a lil thing up here: Sunday: Running Monday: Workout A1//B1 Wednesday: Workout B2//A2 Thursday: Running Friday: Big Workout The workouts: Dumbbell Split squats, dumbbell single-arm snatch, dumbbell straight-leg deadlift, rolling plank, laterla duck-under Pushups, Lateral step-ups, squat and curl, standing single-arm row, Skater hop Every other week, I do the first workout based on reps, I do the second based on time. Then on Fridays, I do the full set of workouts. I'll post some other stuff here, but I think this will work for now. Comments are welcome!
  17. And some humor for the last bit of this crushening: If Starlord did all his own stunts, would that make them all Pratt falls?
  18. Hey, this is an update. I'm up to 4 posts over on mah website, and I am officially published. My working out was butt, but mentally, I'm on an upswing.
  19. And since there was a bit of curiousity: I got my first Nature Box in. The Dark Cocoa Nom Noms are dangerously awesome, the Coconut Cashews are pretty scrumptious. Haven't tried the rest, but that's a matter of time
  20. KaBOOM! Crusher jumping back in after spending the last little bit doing ALL kindsa stuff to say "Sounds like you're DESTROYING it!" Keep up the awesome work!
  21. If nonsensicality is your thing, I found this INCREDIBLE website showcasing the worst items for sale on the Internet. Personal Favorites: Disposable Adhesive Underwear Gerber Meat Sticks A Bluetooth Paper Airplane kit The novel "Butt Goblins of Auschwitz".
  22. Komodo walking could also be called Spidermanning I imagine. You get into pushup position, and while holding that level off the group, you move alternating leg and arm forward (Left leg Right arm, Right leg Left arm). It's interesting and entertains ME at least The company is Wyrd Miniatures. Imagine that someone asked Tim Burton to design a low model count objective-based minis game, and you have a rough idea of the type of models they make.
