  1. Chezka smiled as she saw the tree that ended her run. She took a minute to breath, then began to work on her foot work. She heard a clapping noise. She looked up into the tree to see an elf, smiling in amusement. "I see your getting ready for tomorrow." Chezka nodded. "So what's the plan?" "We have a pixie who is going to stretch you out, then we see how you free run with a couple other elven kind. Consider it a field test." She grimaced. Flexibility wasn't her thing quite yet, but she was willing to try. The Elf gave her a pat on the back. "You got this. I see potential in you." Chezka nodded. She began working on her rolls. The Elf walked away, whistling a tune. The first few days weren't that bad so far. She had positioned herself in a port city to live with a family friend, an Orc who was very much the big brother she needed. She was making money on a ship a few day a week, enough to pay the landlord and a little extra to save. At least it was a start. ------ So the first couple days of this challenge are going good. I'm staying on target and not slacking. Jumping is really helping me stay active every day versus every other day. Day 2 over and out!!
  2. Thank you!! I can't wait to start. My goal after this is to try to free-run, so I'm trying to get ready to complete that goal. Tampa Bay is an awesome place to parkour through.
  3. Chezka smiled as she left the gates of the city behind her. She carried all her earthly possessions on her back, and noting stopped her from going forward. Her light red hair flapped in the breeze behind her. She held herself like royalty, although she wore a simple red guazi coat over tunic and pants. She had a purpose, and nothing would get in her way, not even her father. Her last goal had long since been put away from her mind, Being the bastard daughter of the King, she had a chance for the throne. The law of Quarin was that the strongest of the king's offspring would take the throne, and offspring included illegitimate children. She was the prime candidate until her accident. A teenager of 13 springs, she had taken up a challenge from her older half brother. A horse race with obstacles wouldn't have been a challenge normally. But something happened. While going around a barrel, her horse was suddenly spooked and reared, falling onto Chezka and the barrel. By the time the court physician finally looked at her, the damage was done. He was able to fix her back, but with a cost. By the time she was walking again, she had long fallen from her father's favor. Her years of training and dancing were wasted in his eyes. She had been sent away to become a scholar, never to dance again. Her dreams were trampled on, with no hope of returning. Years later, at a feast, she stood up and tried to dance again. She wasn't as good as before, and the other courtiers laughed at her, but a small glimmer of hope returned. It was then she realized the court never was, nor would ever be, her home. Her height and body were vastly different from her human siblings, and they never understood her impulsive behavior. No, her place was not here. She had heard of Assassins and Monks who taught their sacred arts. Although she had trained in Tae Kwon Do and sword fighting in the past, her goal was to run on roof tops and dance once again. After all, as her mother's people, the Ifrit, once said, "Like the Pheonix, From the Ashes, I Shall Rise." Main Goal- Prepare for Assassin/Monk Training Missions- Do the beginner bodyweight workout at least 3 times a week Complete the Thirty day Plank Challenge Limit soda intake to Twice a week, one soda per time. Jog 1k at least 3 times a week Jump x30 reps once a day Side Quests- Take parkour classes at least two times Work Out with a friend at least once Brush up on rolls and footwork I'm so excited! This is definitely turning a new leaf for for me. And I'm ready to be awesome again!! As a side note, the Ifrit in Pathfinder are tall, but big boned and muscular. They aren't Orc sized, but taller than the average human. Ifrit are humans with any fire spirit ancestry, any where from second generation to hundredth generation.
  4. Just be ready to cheer me on!!! That's been one of the main challenges for me, and I am glad I'm not going at it alone!
  5. Hello! My name is Chezka, and I live in Florida. I used to dance and be more active, but after a back injury I had to stop. I've recently become active again in the dance community, but now I want to be more active in martail arts and Parkour. I am 20 years old, 5'7 and 170 lbs. My goal is to lose 15 lbs and to run a 1k obstacle course without stopping by December. My life goal is to get on fight cast for the local Ren Faire and to be able to fight in a corset for an extended period of time. This sounds silly, but I am a Lady in Waiting on cast currently, and I am wearing a full Tudor Dress, which wieghs 20 lbs minimum. Most other work out plans I have tried have failed because I have a short attention span, so I plan to use this as a way to stay ontrack and make it interesting for me. Later, Chezka
