  1. I am having about the worst day one can imagine. I was asking advice on another forum & even though I said I was very upset they decided it would be best to give me some "harsh truth". So please take it easy on me. I have PCOS, Diabetes & just to top things off severe anxiety disorder (so I tend to panic, freak out, obsess over everything). The thing I want most in this life is to have a baby, with PCOS it makes it very difficult and one of the biggest things I can do right now is to lose weight and control my diet/health. PCOS as well as diabetes is about managing carbs. I am pretty desperate. I am a mad carb lover. All of my favorite foods- carbs. There is a long running joke that I would rather snack on a loaf of bread over desserts. And it is pretty much true. I am not big on candy, cake, junk food but give me pasta & bread. So you can see how difficult this is for me. I am thinking about attempting paleo(ish) to get me where I want to be. My problem is I am a very picky eater. There is alot of food I just won't eat. I don't eat fish. I am not big on meat at all, though I eat chicken breast often. Who doesn't love bacon?, hamburger, pepperoni or sausage but that is about it. I am a weirdo who doesn't eat steak. I just don't like it. For meat I am usually take it or leave it. And I have no idea how to really do much with it. What do you eat? I am having the hardest time finding like ideas I guess. Because in my head I am imagining nothing but eggs & salads. Which I like both but... that might get old fast. Also I was reading on Whole30 I can't have dairy-greek yogurt, hummus, or peanutbutter. Those are like some of my seriously go to foods. I can just eat hummus everyday & I eat yogurt everyday. Like for example my normal "on plan" diet would be soemthing like: Breakfast: oatmeal with fruit & sometimes nuts. Or eggs with tons of veggies but also usually wheat toast or a wrap. Lunch: Chicken and salad but often with tortilla strips, a sandwich or wrap Dinner: almost always some type of pasta as the main dish or side. I just want to set myself up to succeed and not be miserable so I don't fail. I have horrible self control (I am working on it) and live with other people who may not always be commited and may suggest fast food randomly.
