  1. Day 18: Weight - 136.4 -1.2 100% Paleo - 18/42 +1 Upper Body Workout - 5/10 Core Workout - 9/10 Wall Journey - Cycled/Walked 23.1km today, 418.2km so far – Today I passed Stonedoor Chapters of Ice and Fire - 38/42 +4
  2. I'm glad you approve, yeh generally if I want something I know I can find a paleo way of doing it, and yes it was absolutely delicious, so difficult to make it last as long as it did. I read the 2015 date somewhere, but who knows really, was probably just a guess from someone that stuck in my head. I've never used audio books, somehow I'm not sure I could pay proper attention to it. I'm building a long list of books to look into, choosing which to read next is going to be difficult, the Iron Druid Chronicles synopsis sounds interesting though. I may just have to get a load of these on my kobo reader so that I have lots of choices hehe
  3. Yeh I realise it jumps between story lines, but I kind of like that, probably why I like the Ice and Fire series so much. I'll keep that in mind when I eventually get around to Soul Music (probably in 20 years or so with everything I want to read lol
  4. Oh my god that's an awesome reward! :-O
  5. Hehe, I haven't read Mort yet, I think when I was a teenager my dad lent me The Hogfather as I wanted something to read and Christmas was upon us. I really liked that so I read The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic, because I wanted to read them all in order, then I obviously got distracted by something else, probably university lol Well feel free to post whenever you want. It might be about fifthish with Pratchett hehe, I think the reason I'm focusing on fantasy is one that books for me are escapism, so the more different from the real world the better, but also importantly is that I read whilst cycling and it really distracts me from what my legs are doing, I genuinely couldn't exercise as long as I have been without A Song of Ice and Fire to read, so I definitely think I need something similar to that, I find I pedal faster during battle scenes haha!
  6. Yeh you should come see, it's not massively exciting but I'm currently debating books to read that will be exciting enough whilst waiting for the next George R R Martin book. Also I'm majorly ahead of target at the moment because I have too much time on my hands :-O
  7. I heard that, but I heard it was in case he doesn't have time to write it all in his lifetime, I still doubt the tv series will overtake the books, they still have at least a series left to make from A Dance with Dragons and apparently the next book will be 2015, I'm just hoping the success will mean he'll speed up his writing, since the others have taken so long because he's released other books in between, hopefully he'll focus on our books now hehe
  8. Yeh I do love Terry Pratchett books, just been so long since I've read one. Never heard of Trudi Canavan or Liam Hearn though, thanks for the advice I'll look into them oOo yay something else to look at, at this rate I'm going to build up a big collection of thing to read whilst I wait 'patiently' for Mr Martin to hurry his writing up hehe
  9. Awww, I hope you're hip is better soon, what are these Legend of Zelda and Avengers workouts? They sound interesting, and yay Arya! (somehow any game of thrones reference makes me happy at the moment lol)
  10. Day 17: Weight - 137.6 100% Paleo - 17/42 +1 Upper Body Workout - 5/10 +1 Core Workout - 9/10 +1 Wall Journey - Cycled 28.8km today, 395.1km so far – Nearly at Stonedoor Chapters of Ice and Fire - 34/42 +4 Approaching the end of A Dance with Dragons and looking for what to read next, I'm thinking Terry Pratchett Discworld books or Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles as I've started those series' before, but I'm just not as enthusiastic about them as I am A Song of Ice and Fire apparently Joe Abercrombie is a good writer, any advise out there?
  11. My idea exactly, I feel like I already have a strong basis to work from now. I also keep telling myself "just manage half an hour today" and 60-90 minutes later I think "probably time to stop now" lol Haha I'm glad you like it, also, not to nit pick but I'm cycling and walking (no way on earth I could manage walking that distance lol). Having landmarks is amazing! I can't tell you how awesome it is to 'pass' one of the castles along to wall every day or two hehe, my progress will slow when I have less time for exercise though
  12. Exactly, and you're clearly gradually improving
  13. Yay more subs! Wish I'd been this popular in school hehe Faster than dragons?! I've never had such a wonderful compliment hehe, I think before the next challenge (when I head to Winterfell from The Wall to start Tyrion's journey) I should have time to double back from westwatch-by-the-bridge to castle black, it's only because I have the time to do 60-90mins of exercise a day at the moment, long term I'll have to cut it down a bit hehe
  14. Day 16: Weight - 137.6 -0.2 100% Paleo - 16/42 +1 Upper Body Workout - 4/10 Core Workout - 8/10 Wall Journey - Cycled 21km today, 366.3km so far – Today I passed Hoarfrost Hill Chapters of Ice and Fire - 30/42 +3
  15. Anytime, hoping to post more stuff like that as people seem to like recipe sharing and food porn on here hehe
  16. C isn't too bad, at least it's better than last week, which means this week should be even betterer, good luck with it!
  17. Ah, well, I made it up lol. However all I did was slice apples and pears (again keeping skins on is a personal choice), put a little water in the bottom (i used some leftover juice from when I'd stewed some rhubarb so it had a little rhubarb flavour with maple syrup in it, so any sweet liquid would do or just water) then in a separate bowl I combined some honey, ground almonds and dessicated coconut, I have no idea in what quantities I'm afraid, I just did it by eye and it depends how big a dessert you're making. Then put that mixture on top of the fruit, I also sprinkled a little coconut nectar on top but I've done it without before and it's still just as yummy. Then bake in the oven for 30+ minutes (initially 30 and that's fine but then I kept it in a little longer as we wanted it crispier on top) Hope that's an alright explanation
  18. Week two looks great, good luck sticking to it
  19. Day 15: Weight - 137.8 -0.2 100% Paleo - 15/42 +1 Upper Body Workout - 4/10 Core Workout - 8/10 +1 Wall Journey - Cycled 19km today, 345.3km so far – Today I passed Icemark Chapters of Ice and Fire - 27/42 +2 So happy with my progress so far and already starting to think about my next challenge, most importantly I don't think I'm so focused on becoming 126lbs anymore, I think 133 is a good goal for this challenge and then once I'm there I'm just going to focus on lowering my body fat percentage, since I've seen so many changes in my body recently, in the last 3 weeks I've only lost 2.6lbs but a lot in measurements which makes me happy
