  5. Hi Cat, Great looking goals, out of interest what are you using to calculate your body fat %? I'm always interested in trying to find a way to roughly estimate at least but none of the non medical ways seem very good :-(

  8. Hi Blaidd, I got very excited when I realised it's doable over 6 weeks and have wanted the new challenge to start so I could write it all out and focus on that. If I do well I think I will journey from the wall to Winterfel next challenge, someone online guesstimated it at 210 leagues based on the length of the wall. Thanks!

  12. Hello Everyone and Welcome to my challenge journal! Introduction: My name is Nikita, my friends call me Kit or Kitty (so feel free) and I follow the paleo way of eating, therefore my partner helped me coin the name 'Sabretooth-Kitty' which I'm hoping sounds slightly ferocious as well as rediculously cute. I'm 25 and I've struggled with my weight most of my life and have been a healthy weight now for the past 4-5 years, but the battle is always there to stay in the healthy range, since eating paleo I think I've finally found what I needed and I'm working towards getting back to my lowest weight (126lbs) whilst being fit and healthy, I'm currently 140.6lbs and I'm happy for a slow progression to being slim, healthy and fitter than ever. This is my first challenge so bare with me and feel free to let me know if you can think of any improvements to my way of doing things. Main Quest: Weigh 126lbs (I'm hoping to get halfway there this challenge) Quest 1: Eat my version of 100% paleo (I still have caffeine and sweeteners and don't plan on giving them up) Measurement: A = 42 days, B = 40 days, C = 38 days Reward: A = +3 CON, B = +2 CON, C = +1 CON Quest 2: Explore The Wall (555.6km) - I saw someone trying to walk to rivendell as a quest and I thought that sounded awesome, so as I'm a MASSIVE game of thrones fan I decided I would travel the length of 'The Wall', which is 100 leagues/555.6km, I will travel the wall by walking and cycling on a stationary bike, from Eastwatch-by-the-sea to Westwatch-by-the-bridge. Measurement: A = > 555.6km, B = >500km, C = >450km Reward: A = +3 STA, +2 DEX, B = +2 STA, +1 DEX, C = +1 STA Quest 3: Work on core and upper body - since I'll be doing cardio and lower body with my bike I will need to also work on my core and upper body, core = planks, upper body = boxing or similar. Since my body is currently quite weak and unprepared for this I will alternate between cardio, upper body, cardio, core, cardio, upper body, etc, etc Measurement: A = 10 days of each, B = 8 days of each, C = 6 days of each Reward: A = +3 STR, +2 CHA, B = +2 STR, +1 CHA, C = +1 STR Life Quest: Read an average of one chapter of A Song Of Ice and Fire a day. Measurement: A = 42 chapters, B = 40 chapters, C = 38 chapters Reward: A = +3 WIS, B = +2 WIS, C = +1 WIS Wish me luck!!!

  15. Hi Everyone, I stumbled across this website and think it's amazing, and the news of a new challenge starting next week that I'd like to get involved in prompted me to join and post. I don't want to give a long winded introduction to myself so I'll try and stick to the point: My name is Kit, my highest weight at age 17 was 208lbs, my lowest was 126lbs at 21, I'm now 25, 140lbs and whilst weight loss is an interim goal of mine my long term focus is now on health and fitness. I follow the paleo way of eating and try to exercise when I can but due to various illnesses this isn't always easy and I try to be proud of whatever I can manage. Well that's me, feel free to say hi!
