  1. Oh I do lift, I just have to weight my lifting gloves or my hands hurt more than my muscles Camp sounds sooooo amazing! Especially getting PR's and helping others to as well. I've already discussed with my partner that one year we will take a holiday in America during the NF camp weekend and he wants to come with me!!!!! It'll take a lot of saving up and probably won't be next year as we are also saving to buy a house but by the time we make it I'll hopefully have a lot more NF friends to make the experience even more gratifying. Also your costume looked amazing
  2. Story telling it is then Day 11: Body Fat % - 26.4% Westeros Journey - 106km/140km +14.3 Weight Training - 5/12 Hours Spent Fasted - 185/448 +17 Self Improvement Hours - 10.5/28 +2 My fitbit arrived today!!! Very happy, I will add in whatever distance it says at the end of the day (Yes, walking around my house will count towards walking through Westeros) If anyone else has one let me know if you want to be friends on there, I think it'll help me stay motivated to keep active. My breakthrough of the week: I've been pretty much house bound for the past 3-4 months with this illness, by that I don't mean I haven't left the house at all but haven't been able to leave the house on my own with the blurred vision and feeling faint problems. This week (Monday after my GP's appointment) I walked home, on my own, took half an hour and once I got home I strolled around the garden for another 30 minutes whilst on the phone to my Mum. I can't tell you how amazing this was! So... my fitbit has arrived perfectly on time and I'm going to go out for a walk!!!! Wish me luck!!!
  3. A work in progress is better than nothing. Maybe it's easier earlier in the week? If Sunday and Monday were easiest
  4. Bit far to go for a workout but I might contemplate making some gym things if I find some space somewhere, at the moment the only extra space in the house has my bike and weights which are doing for me at the moment
  5. I made them with soy protein because that's all I had at the time, I'm 100% certain they'd be nicer and creamer with whey but they were still nice, just slightly more like a health food than a treat
  6. Haha, I think I got most of it out of my system on my first set, then it got easier, I'm hoping over time I will just find it easier and easier and it'll help with core stability
  7. Your workout looks great, I just tried one legged deadlifts for the first time today and kept losing balance.. hoping I'll get better at them *blush*
  8. That sounds like a wonderful time with your friend, I only left University 2 years ago and find it so hard to keep in contact with people since moving away, really good to hear you've managed it and had a good time (I love when I find a friend has started dieting and exercising and gives us something else to bond over too)
  9. Sorry about your foot hope, it heals quickly and doesn't get in the way of the burpees
  10. Week one sounds like it went really well Hope week 2 is going just as well
  11. I need a friend with an awesome home gym! especially with DIY/homemade equipment. It sounds awesome, and it's so cool that you've found a subject you're confident enough to start and continue conversations with, also, everyone wants a harem of women who are only getting sexier by working out, good work!
  12. Good work on getting your 5k pace down! Also, war wounds to be proud of, in my little game of thrones world that gets a big *thumbs up*
  13. omg omg omg, I didn't know there was a NF camp! It would cost me a load to get there from the UK but would love to attend one year.. best start saving now hehe
  14. Congrats on the progress, especially the sleeping, very important that. I like the google doc spreadsheet idea, I will definitely take a look whenever you seem to be missing from here
  15. I think I may have already completed the necessary pulling exercises for this week. If anyone's having a crummy week and needs extra help let me know
  16. Oh of course! I had him send a couple of crows out for me (One to King's Landing informing them of my imminent return and another to a brothel or two along the way to expect my arrival and have a bed waiting for me) Think it might be fun to add the details of Tyrion's journey that won't have been worth George R R Martin writing down but are fun for my journey, what do you think? Day 10: Body Fat % - 26.4% Westeros Journey - 91.7km/140km +6 Weight Training - 5/12 +1 Hours Spent Fasted - 168/448 +17 Self Improvement Hours - 8.5/28 +3 I'm now over 50kms out of Winterfell, heading towards Moat Cailin: Tyrion's never been much for the outdoors but he's happy to be out of a city full of people who either hate him or just haven't seen a dwarf before and aren't good mannered enough to pretend otherwise.
  17. Done! I set up an account already even though it hasn't arrived yet... far too enthusiastic hehe
  18. Day 6-9: Body Fat % - 26.4% Westeros Journey - 85.7km/140km +21.5 Weight Training - 4/12 +1 Hours Spent Fasted - 151/448 +67 Self Improvement Hours - 5.5/28 +2
  19. I made it I made it I made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Look up)
  20. Currently stopped off in Winterfell giving horse saddle blueprints to Bran :-)
