  1. Fitbit sounds really good then, thanks for all the information. I think I will definitely buy something from that range, the only annoying thing is there doesn't seem to be one that does everything, they all have different features but there isn't like a 'mega fitbit' that does everything, guess I'll have to work out what's most important to me
  2. I'm very very bad at remembering to moisturise or anything, so I'm quite lucky they are soft to start with, guess I'm lucky I don't have a manual job
  3. I know how you feel actually, I've been doing it a lot to myself recently, yesterday I did my body fat calculation and found I'd gained last week and it just blew the whole day for me, I ate waaay too much under the guise of it being our nice relaxing Sunday and I shouldn't have to focus on 'calories' but I knew that I was eating too much. I think we all do it sometimes and I wouldn't worry about Jax having that responsibility for now because maybe after a little time of having the outside conscience whispering in your ear you'll be able to do it yourself a bit better. Anyway back to healthiness
  4. 4th gets you $100? where do I sign up :-P I wanted to ask actually, what's your opinion of fitbit? I was thinking of getting one as endomondo (phone app) doesn't seem to work too well and now that I'm trying to get back to work I'd like to try and do more in the day, just moving around and whatnot and think it might help me stay motivated to do so...
  5. Yay for new family members! I have two older brothers and they both had babies in the last two months so I got to see my new (absolutely tiny) niece this weekend
  6. Good work not giving in to temptation. Awww I hope you sleep better tonight. I'm always the same when I'm made to sleep alone.
  7. Done! Was fun last night when I realised I still had 10 to go, so whilst playing pool with my partner in between turns I would run up the stairs and back
  8. Ah I know eventually it wouldn't hurt and I could handle it... but I like having soft hands
  9. Good Enough? (Obviously since I'm playing Tyrion in this scenario... maybe I should of picked a girl to follow but Tyrion's journey is way cooler)
  10. Sounds good. There's definitely a lot a small group of programmers can achieve, there's plenty of small independents out there. Good luck with it
  11. Day 4-5: Body Fat % - 25.9% Westeros Journey - 64.2km/140km +25.2 Weight Training - 3/12 +1 Hours Spent Fasted - 84/448 +34 Self Improvement Hours - 3.5/28 +2.5 I am so incredibly close to Winterfell... Who's excited for me?
  12. Well I think it's a good idea that I will do in future, not this time though because I'll be in Australia when this challenge ends hehehehehe Whilst that's true there is still a lot of work for freelance web developers, and the skills you pick up will definitely help with whatever the new thing becomes, for example I know a lot of web developers who find it very easy to turn their hand to app development, so you'll be in a stronger situation either way
  13. What are your biggest hang ups with training then? (else you could always cheat and have 4th goal as 'complete mini quests for rangers' e.g. stairs this week
  14. That's great to hear Also I only just noticed that you're a 'Pixie Warrior' something about that really tickles me, I like it hehe
  15. I know, but I have only been going at it for 5 weeks, and I make improvements every single day so it's only a matter of time, definitely benefiting from newbie gains at the moment at least hehe
  16. I would be sooooo amazing at the low score thing, I am very good at getting just the left most pin haha I think it's awesome that you stuck to 20 minutes running despite the pain on sprinting
  17. You're back! Wow what a depressing thing for a doctor to say, at least it'll get sorted eventually, in the mean time upper body workouts yay!
  18. Now I want a Zombies cycling app... If one doesn't exist it needs to hehe
  19. Haha OK fair enough, being frozen and already being pooped out from other workouts are plenty good excuses. Look forward to it
  20. Speaking of your quote by Marianne Williamson, maybe the better way to think would be to not hate yourself for any reason, especially not a bag of crisps/sabotaging yourself. *sending good thoughts*
  21. And yet you still expect us to read it in one sitting... hehe j/k but then I did sit down with a coffee expecting it to take a while Good idea though about starting it that early, I think I will next time so I can properly think about what I want to achieve. Congrats on being one of the 16 people who persevered with the iOS programming, even if it is kicking your butt at the moment you're keeping at it which is commendable and you'll be happy you stuck to it when you are all knowing and building stuff without even thinking about it, (with minimal googling, a programmers best friends hehe)
  22. I hope your sisters dog gets better! That must be horrible to deal with. I love the sentence: I'd love to be so fit that I don't count a 3 mile run (even a slow one) as a workout. I love the zombie themed goals, speaking of which, I know you said diet should just be a habit by now, but maybe have a goal around that if you're looking for something to fit in there? OR join the cool kids and only have 3 goals like me
  23. Workouts look great! Also congrats on the responsibility, it's always a good thing when your managers have that level of trust in you
  24. I feel your pain with your bf, you should see mine when he has a small headache haha! Also with the pull up bar, I live in a 3 bedroom house and can't find anywhere I'd trust to put a pull up bar
