I can't even imagine having to deal with the loss of my Mom so I can only imagine how cleaning the trunk of your car was a very therapeutic, important, move for you. Congratulations on doing it! (also WHY JK, WHY FRED). I'm sending you a ton of positive vibes. You deserve the best, okay. There will be obstacles, but super-hero face it and sometimes might fall a little bit, but they always come back even stronger. You rock my dear, you really do. Here's to week 2 treating you well and your challenge being awesome! *hug*

  5. Yay for all your hardwork and push-ups! All the best for the race and hopefully you beat your wife's time. I feel you for the burger bun... white bread just kills me now. It takes about 5 minutes and I look 3 months pregnant because of bloating- sorry for the TMI. Hopefully you feel better now!

  9. Gah, I feel your pain! It will take some getting used to, that's for sure. A lot of things are changing for you right now and it's not easy to adapt, but I have faith in you. You are a strong human being, you are made of fire and dragon blood, okay. Yeah... CrossFit is SO expensive. The cheapest place I've ever found was 105$ for a month and it was in the suburbs. I'm sending you positive vibes so that everything goes smoothly. <3

I've been pretty tired and discouraged for a few days now, but I'm feeling better and it's all thanks to everyone here. Thank you! I'll post my updates once I get home. I'm hitting the gym for a run after work, so that will help clear my head even more! :-D I believe there is a link there when you click on Wonder Woman, but I'll post it again. It's a very good workout indeed, worked the core really well! Wonder Woman Workout. -- Week 2 Day 1-3: 768 hours left... Goron Mask Quest: Do strength training 3 times a week + a pilates or body weight session. 5/24 I had a good session with my PT who said: ''It's legs day today, your favorite day!'' I think the whole world knows I love leg day, haha. Bunny Hood Mask: Run 3 times a week and be able to run a 5k without stopping by the end of the challenge. 3/18 I skipped the run after my workout intially because I was feeling tired and my head was full of excuses. But then during work, I read everyone's message in here to cheer me up and it gave me some motivation. After work I went to the gym and finished the C25K Week 5 Day 1 and it wasn't as challenging as I thought it would be; score!Deku mask quest: Take gluten completely out of my diet, since Dekus don't eat any of that stuff, am I right? 2.5/42 Okay. I had a 90% good day without any gluten but then I was stupid and ordered a burger at Hero burger and forgot to ask for the gluten free option. One tiny small bun away from a perfect day. I'm more focused now and I'll cook more if I have the time! I gave myself .5 for effort, haha.Life Quest aka, Postman's hat mask quest: I have a lot of books to finish reading before I move out and I plan on giving them, so everyday I want to read at least 10 pages. I guess that quest is a bit of a stretch to relate to the Majora's Mask theme. +0 = 63/420 I haven't read anything in the last 3 days, but... I was writing. I WORKED ON MY POETRY STUFF. This is a great feeling for me so I'm happy. I'll just have to read a looooooooooot to make up for it. :-PI had quite a couple of bad days... I'm the kind of person who lets myself slip for a long time and gets discouraged. But I decided not to do it. I suffered a lot from emotional eating for the past week or two and those last few days were just... horrible and filled with food I didn't even feel like eating. But It's done now. I think stress has taken the best from me and the fact that I've quit my job (given two weeks) and now they make me come in for 70+ hours is killing me. Those two weeks can't end fast enough, let me tell ya... Now, I'm off to work 10 days in a row without a day off. BUT I'll meditate, do my best to not do too many takeouts (that will be hard since I won't be home) and I'll still have you guys. Good thing about giving my two weeks is that I don't care anymore if anybody sees me on NF while It's dead at work, so I'll be more active on everyobody's thread. :-P Yay for a new shiny day!

  18. B is great! Honestly you did all your workouts and runs: that's amazing! You tracked almost everyday, same with meditation. I think this is a brilliant week and you should be proud. Week 1 is never easy and look how great you've done already.

I personally have cleaned my mats in two ways: either put water and lemon in a thing that looks like a febreeze (I have no brain right now to think @_@) or otherwise wash with some water first, then soap, then rinse with water again (all of this with a sponge). These are the two ways that I do, but I'm sure people will have other tricks to offer you.
  21. Major congrats on the workout and don't bash yourself too much honestly. First week is never easy! I think that site has a lot of recipes that would be good for what you're looking for!
  22. Wow indeed. Your workouts are definitely intense! Congrats! I hope your back will get better soon. It's definitely a huge pain to have to go on with your day when you have back issues, it makes everything more difficult and annoying. :/
