  1. Woo, that sounds like an absolutely amazing swim, especially with your cast which must be a little heavy you know! You will always amaze me, Pixie! I am really hoping for a swift recovery, you deserve to MOVE as you said in your last post. <3
  2. Oh ouch, those moves all burn, so congrats on finishing your workout! And yay for the blood pressure, that's actually so amazing! Look at you kicking that challenge's ass.
  3. Depending which movie you watch, you are DEFINITELY faster than the zombies. You will definitely get there with hard work and dedication - which are two qualities you have my dear!
  4. Yay for a new PR and great workout! You're doing amazing!
  5. How was the movie?! I have only heard great things.
  6. If you ever need websites for veggie recipes, please ask. I have about 5 million of them. And nice spreadsheet!
  7. Week 1 Day 5: 888 hours left (Leothil this one is for you. <3) Arya ran all day around Clockhead, feeling energized today. Maybe it was the fact she had actually slept today or maybe it was the Bunny Hood mask. Either way, she had spent the whole day discovering new things about the people living in town and had even seen someone walk out of a house with a weird yellow mask... it looked like a monster she had seen in another life, maybe... with a weird name that probably ended in ''chu'' or something... Goron Mask Quest: Do strength training 3 times a week + a pilates or body weight session. 3/24 Had a lovely time at the gym. Honestly I don't think I can see myself not working out ever. It's part of my life now and it makes me feel proud, strong and all those things I never thought I would feel about myself. I think I can safely say that doing strength training has changed my life... Okay, I'm really corny, but I mean it! Bunny Hood Mask: Run 3 times a week and be able to run a 5k without stopping by the end of the challenge. 2/18 I finished the Week 5 Day 1 of the C25K and it went way better than the last run, yay! I still looked like a huge tomato (could you imagine a tomato the size of a head? now that's something) afterwards but I am improving and that's an amazing feeling!Deku mask quest: Take gluten completely out of my diet, since Dekus don't eat any of that stuff, am I right? 2/42 Okay, 90% sure I didn't have gluten today. And when I bought groceries today I made sure that everything I bought didn't list any sort of wheat on it. The oats I bought, sadly, come from a bulk barn type of thing so I'm just praying that they weren't in contact with gluten but yeah. I'm getting there! Life Quest aka, Postman's hat mask quest: I have a lot of books to finish reading before I move out and I plan on giving them, so everyday I want to read at least 10 pages. I guess that quest is a bit of a stretch to relate to the Majora's Mask theme. 53+10 = 63/420 I literally finished the Black Widow Itsy Bitsy Spider comic in 30 minutes... so.good. I love Natasha so much, argh. It hurts. I'll count it as 10 pages even though it was more than that, but there's not that much text obviously. I'll try to read some Madame Bovary before going to sleep but won't count it as extra! So I think that was a really great day for me! I spent some quality time with a friend and even broke my weird tradition of having eggs only with toast. (I don't really love the taste of them, I find them weird now so if I don't have bread with it normally I won't touch them, haha, but I couldn't refuse this to my friend!) All in all, I really love my days off even though I'm always running everywhere and am rarely actually resting. I hope you all had a great day! Keep rocking your challenges!
  8. 2.60 miles today by finishing the Week 5 Day 1 of the C25K, woot woot! Spreadsheet is here, ya'll.
  9. (I'll respond to everyone once I'm done all my chores and actually in front of the computer.) Score! Really cheap comics! *-* -- It really does sneak everywhere. I didn't know I had to be careful even of soy sauce and my oats in the morning! Crazy! Thank you for the advice and I'm definitely doing this! I was grocery shopping today and really checked ingredients and labels and everything. Kind of cool, to be honest. I'm glad you like the reading challenge. :-D Damnit Toronto. Such a nice city but the cost of living, oh gawd. Hey! I remember playing this when I was really young. See, my Mom is a huge gamer, especially a Zelda fanatic, so she's the one who brought me into it. :-P Those snails are great, haha. 10 hours is still absolutely crazy! And as you have seen, I barely cook anything since I haven't challenged myself about takeouts this time. But this time is over. I bought frozen veggies and will just batch cook as much as I can. Because you are right, takeout/drinks is 20-30% of my income and that's just sad. Thank you for the support and for giving some more motivation to stop takeouts again! You are awesome! I don't blame you for skipping a lot of posts, haha. My thread always seems to be a crazy one! Yay! And I LOVE your theme so we are both sharing the love, eheh. Running and reading, activies that start in R are good for the brain, oh yeah. :-P (I'm crazy I need to stop talking, haha) Thank you so very much for the cheerleading, It's always greatly appreciated! Honestly I did it this morning and it gave some pep to my walk (do you guys say that in English?). I felt more relaxed throughout the day and didn't even complain about having to do laundry, haha. That app is definitely great! Gluten seems to be following me around, like the man with the spoon. Awww I hope you will love your porridge tomorrow! I honestly am just in love with oatmeal right now. I go by cravings normally and they are in cycles, haha. The last one was pierogies for breakfast and before that tofu scramble with mashed avocado on toast. :-P Yay!!!! (sorry for all the exclamation marks, haha) I'm just so happy that you're loving it! I have such a huge love for Harry Potter - it's so cheesy of me to say but I can 100% say that that series is the reason why I'm a writer and a nerd, so yes. Keep me up to date with the reading!!! :-D Yes, please do! It's actually great. I don't know for you but I find it difficult to meditate just by myself and the lady's voice is very soothing. Let me know if you do try it. :-D
  10. That seems like a good day to me! And I have to congratulate you on running in a cemetary, I think I'd be freaked out a little bit. I agree that it's a good thing you didn't comment on the Ambrosia, haha!
  11. Agreed! You have a great plan and you will definitely tackle it with power! You're doing amazing.
  12. Agent Pond, you are doing amazing! That body weight workout wasn't meant to be easy, as you are a strong individual. But you passed our test today. Congratulations and keep the great work coming. (I did not just impersonate Coulson or anything... )
  13. Awww this thread brings me so much joy! And thank you Kailer, you're so nice!
  14. Thank you! I was thinking of the Book of Mudora but then I chose to just stick with Majora's Mask's masks/characters, as that's the focus of my challenge. I'll probably do another Zelda challenge that's more broad and maybe will use some A Link To The Past inspiration. It really, really, REALLY, does. I'm still laughing about throwing a burger at someone's face, haha. Quitting one job will definitely help. No more 15 hours day for me, woot woot! Excercise is one of the only things keeping me sane right now, so I think you're right about quitting hobbies but not workouts, haha. Three jobs is just crazy, I don't know how you do it and I'm honestly having so much sympathy and respect for you. So much to do, so little time to do it... and days when you're off become days where you have to do everything in the house and it's just, gah. Send me that bag, haha. I haven't saved a penny in about 3 months that's the sad part. WHY IS LIFE SO EXPENSIVE. arghjhfurhghdruehrerhr Darunia is the biggest life of the party! Goron parties are the best parties, nah that's a lie. The Zora's have the best parties. Thank youuuu! I really hope it will make a difference! When I used to medidate and do positive affirmations in the morning, I was in the best mental shape of my life so I guess I know it works I just got lazy! I'm glad to see meditating works well for you. :-D You are so nice Greenleaf. Thank you so so much for your support! Indeed I was. Everyday was a stress-fest and nobody needs that! Thank you so much for the support Leothil, you are a gem! *hug*
  15. You're invited all around the world, that's awesome! And congrats on killing it (will never forget that song) as always. Bezerker mode for the win! Those fried potatoes sound deadly. *-*
  16. Oh my. :/ That's really horrible! You're the second person I know who f*cked up their back because of deadlifts this week, ugh. I really wish you a swift recovery and I hope one of your friend can drive you to the chiro! Except the back pain, your workout seemed solid so good job!
  17. Rest is a great decision! And don't worry about the protein intake, the first week is always there to help you get ready to tackle the challenge. You're doing great!
  18. Pixie, yoy could describe a slug race in details to me that I'd be interested! You have such a way with words that I never get tired of reading you, so don't think you're boring us! Also Mother Nature does bear very unpleasant gifts, but when you have a nice boyfriend like yours it's probably a bit easier! Also chocolate always helps. Keep rocking my dear!
  19. It seemed like you had a great day at the beach! And an active one at that! May I say that your shoulders look really toned and that I'm envious of them? Congrats on doing really well as always and I'm taking you up on your offer. If I ever visit Finland I'll definitely try a sauna (and of course say "Hi"!)
  20. You seen to be having crazy long days too, ugh! I have faith in you and know you'll rock your next workout! For now enjoy AC for me!
  21. I always get good results when I lower my takeouts, processed carb intakes and sugar intake. Maybe work a little bit around that? It does take time to see a difference, especially because the scale is a liar and won't tell you you're gaining muscles and losing fat! I have faith in you and you're doing great my dear!
  22. *sings the Epona song and waits* I apologize to my team for really being a terrible person who hasn't logged anything in 24 hours. @_@
  23. Argh, I know your pain when it comes to work stress. But you still did amazingly so that still requires some congratulations!
  24. I'm so excited for this trip to Westeros, oh my! So glad you have finally put your thread up!
