  2. Great I take care of everyone else that is sick at home and at work. All they could think to do was share it with me.

  3. If you are a veteran then Happy Veteran's Day. If you are off work then get out and do something fun! I am hitting a trail for 3 miles with a 30lb pack.

      Sounds like a great day. Hope PT helps and you thoroughly enjoy that meal. Just got the 3 miles done and am now thinking of a bike ride this afternoon. Perhaps 30 miles.

  5. Chilling with my daughter watching The Desolation of Smaug. Looking forward to the early strength work shortly after I get up.

      Awwwwwww jeeeeeeez! Looks like I'll be in the turquoise socks, side pony, pink headband, and orange scrunchie... By the way, I'm going to wear shorts to ensure Maximum Sockage and my brightest workout shirt so no one can miss me--bonuses for getting it done earlier than expected.

      And you know how I feel about gyms.

  7. Love running during my lunch at work. Only wish I was not so slow and was able to do more than 2-3 miles.

      Just have to chime in because I am eating the same thing for the first time RIGHT NOW. I mashed them up with some dijon mustard and put them on toast. I mean, it's no grilled cheese sandwich but it's kinda surprisingly tasty!

      I mixed mine with mustard and a dash of hot sauce. I topped zucchini slices with it. That is awesome you were trying them today for the first time too! I think I would have enjoyed it more with dijon. I will try that the next time. :)

  14. Today is a good day. Woke up in pain again. However I had some delicious paleo sweet po hash, 2 eggs, and killed it on the dumbbell workout (upped the weight). Win!

  15. Such a lovely dark ride into work. It was almost meditative. I found the perfect cadence, few distractions, and cool weather. Wow.

  16. Home with sick kiddo and feeling cruddy myself. I think a nap will be in order.

  17. Spinach salads for breakfast are amazing. Wish I had more spinach to have it again today.

      Toss it with a hard boiled egg, a bit of crispy bacon, some dried cranberries (not too many), and a nice olive oil and vinegar .... oh yeah it is delicious!

  18. Strength work before 5:30am...lunch run of 3 miles...and a delicious bowl of spaghetti squash. Some days are just good days.

  19. So happy right now...Excellent strength workout last night thanks to NFA dumbbell workout. Can not wait for my run at lunch now and my strength workout tomorrow!

  20. Who knew a salad for breakfast topped with all good things topped with olive oil and vinegar would taste so good!

  21. Another gorgeous ride into work. Saw a planet so bright and clear. Last minute I decided to try and increase speed on a couple hills when climbing. Nailed it. Just a couple years ago I used to get off my bike to walk it up them so my legs would not hurt and I would not end up very winded. Love it!

  22. Some days you feel good and some days you feel awesome. Today I feel AWESOME! Up early, things done, fun to be had with the family tonight, and just feeling strong.

  23. Oh gosh waking up at 4:20am has turned to 3:30am so I can get my stuff done. This way I can still enjoy coffee with the spouse and cuddle with kiddo as I wake her up before leaving the house before sunrise to get to work. LOL

      Yep, my am times have gone from 7:45 to 4:30. And then I'm like well if I wake up just 30 mins earlier I can get a couple more....STOP, no, enough!

  24. After a very wet ride home from work on my bike my kiddo asked if I would do some barefoot running with her in the rain. Why not? I popped off my shoes and we did 20 minutes of wet barefoot hill sprints! Pure awesomeness. So glad I have been getting healthier and healthier!

      I'm going to keep that in mind. My college has a huge, well kept lawn and barefoot sprints on that sounds like tons of fun!

  25. Looking forward to some strength work this evening and hopefully a run if we only get rain and no thunderstorms. I love running in the rain.
