  1. Thank you Kailer @katastrophenkatzchen I'm really interested in the whole primal living stuff. But I don't follow any specific "don't eat that" guides as those would take away from live quality for me. I try to reduce grains.I LOVE eating dead animals. But overall I just try to follow my body and sometimes my body craves a glass of milk
  2. I have a habit of going out with more clothing than the usual human (long arms in summer) and, you know, WINTER IS COMING. So better be safe. I had a bad experience with nuts in week 5. I ran panicking into NF chat because of that too. I ate some walnuts (grown in grandmas garden) and than my throat started to itch. And my right ear. Dr. google that could be an allergic reaction to the nuts. I later found a little piece of nut sticking in my throat so probably it was just an itch from that. But my brain? was in panic mode or there was something else to the nuts. I felt dizzy. And my stomach felt strange too. Didn't help that my dog who ate the same nuts did vomit some hours later, too. He usually doesn't do this. Just wanted to share this so all of you know that I might be a little crazy. I'm not a fan of "not really milk" milks (though I never tried them... shame on me)but I can drink regular dairy (except in the morning) and like to eat yoghurt.
  3. I updated my previous post! Overall I felt very happy with my quests. I have problems with describing a main goal, this is already hunting me for the next challenge. Its hard for me to log regularly into NF and check out people or even write into my own thread. Time is an issue, but sometimes I just get a feeling of hatred, like with food logging. Its hard for me to find people I can relate to and share some goals with, as I don't have the usual "I want to lose X kg, run x km, reach that and that fitness goal" motivation. I didn't manage to weave a story. So starting with writing stuff is still on my todo. I learned that it might be a good idea to hide big images int spoiler tags, saw another member do this and fell in love with this method. +1 Wis for completing the challenge and learning all this stuff Im grateful for everyone who stopped by in my thread! Thank you very much! Next challenge will happen in the druids guild and revolve around cleaning my mind and home Level 1 | Human | Druid [ STR: 0 | DEX: 2 | STA: 1 | CON: 5 | WIS: 4 | CHA: 1 ]
  4. Summary Main Quest for this Challenge Getting enough Vitamins and Minerals to keep my body healthy. Enough means for this challenge: at least 80% of the recommended amount for every value listet on paleotrack 10/20 are below 80% Well I thought I'd manage to do more. Compared to the sum of random days before this challenge, there is only one value improved. Of course I have to say, that I tended to only logg days where I was eating "good" anyways. So the values might be screwed. Overall I'm giving me a D for my Maingoal. Quest 1: Track Food intake daily on paleotrack.com as exactly as possible B+C+B+A+A+C = B Wis +1 I never managed to log 6 weeks of food before. I knew that I don't like logging. At some days I HATED it. It is a painful chore for me. I'm proud I managed it for this challenge and I learned a lot about the food I consume. I took a break from logging for the challenge break. I might or might not keep this as habit. Maybe I'll include it 2x or 4x a year in challenge to get a feeling for changes in my eating habits. Quest 2: at least 5 days per week a serving of raw vegetable and fruit A+B+A+B+C+D = C It got worse every week, but overall I think I successfully introduced the habit of eating raw vegetables. I have to diversify more. My vegetables for this weeks consisted mostly of red(or yellow) peppers as they are easy to cut and eat at the office. Diversification will be part of a future challenge. Con + 1 Quest 3: at least 3 time per week scrambled or hard boiled eggs A+A+A+A+C+A = A Eggs are easy. In the last week I cheated a little as we ordered some food and I simply ordered a "pide" (some turkish form of pizza) with an egg on top . Con +1 Life Quest: Spend some time with real persons outside of work at least 2 hour per week Char +1 Passed this every week as our neighbours have a habit of inviting us over for barbecue on weekends.
  5. This is my result for week 6 Quest 1: C meh. didn't track monday fully Track Food intake daily on paleotrack.com as exactly as possible Quest 2: D at least 5 days per week a serving of raw vegetable and fruit Fruit fail or maybe logging fail... I can only count what I logged Fruit: sat,fr Vegetable: sat,fr,wed, tues, mon Quest 3: A at least 3 time per week scrambled or hard boiled eggs sat, thur, egg Main Goal: 4 greens (last 6, highest: 9) 6 reds (last 6, lowest 2)
  6. If only they allowed me to actually donate this time *grml*. My blood pressure was 98 -something and they don't allow donations below 100-something. The doctors checking me out are always worried I might collapse and don't believe me when I tell them that I'm doing sport on a regular basis and having no problems with my circuit. This is my result for week 5 (yeah I know, a little late) Quest 1: A Track Food intake daily on paleotrack.com as exactly as possible Quest 2: C at least 5 days per week a serving of raw vegetable and fruit Fruit: Mo, di, thur,fr Vegetable: Di, Wed, thur,fr Quest 3: C at least 3 time per week scrambled or hard boiled eggs thur, sun Main Goal: 6 greens (last 3, highest: 9) 6 reds (last 7, lowest 2) I'm happy about Vitamin D (increased fish intake)
  7. I totally thought there is still one week left... I don't feel so well actually. I'm more tired. On wednesday I wanted to donate blood (doing that regularly) but wasn't allowed to because of low blood pressure. Iron was low, too. You ambassadors are doing great work in checking out us level 1. Thank you.
  8. Soooo weak as I am I just did 3 + 0,1 pushup. No just kidding, 3+1 I wonder why nobody else seems to be interested
  9. I'm going to copy your signature formatting Hope you finished your week successful?
  10. Week 4 Food Logging: A Eggs: A ( 4 of 3) Mon, Wed, Thur, Fr Raw Vegetable/fruit at least 5 of 7 days: B (both 4 of 5) Vegetable: Mon, Tue, Thur, Fr fruit: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fr Social: Met (went to my parents on the weekend) Main Goal: eh lets don't talk about this...
  11. Sounds interesting, I'd like to learn pi, just have to figure out what to do for it
  12. The cleaning your diet part looks good Dont' feel to bad about the others, those are very ambituos goals.
  13. Congratulations for living through you final exam! When will you get results? And you made the sleep goal, thats great.
  14. Stupid ipad deleting text when chaning browserr tabs.... Feel free to spam me whenever you want. And you totally can upgrade charisma in real life too. Just not with writing a number somewhere. Maybe if the number is money on your bank account. That might work with some people. Have to check how the week was. Social goal is met, I visited my parents at the weekend, birthday party with some relatives I haven't seen for some years. Bad: my grandmother gave me lots of sweets and I fell for them. Not part of my current quest, but not good eitherway. Yesterday i first went swimming and then running with my neighbour and dog. We even walked bare feet a little. What a great feeling.

  16. Hi, I'm a little bite confused is my class = my guild? Or can I be a druid in the scout guild?
  17. Thank you both I have to look into the stat thing... I believed there aren't any points in the first challenge, now I'm confused. Here is the screenshot of week 3 nutrition Main Goal: I think I'm making baby steps into the right direction Potassium/Sodium: worse Omega ratio:better 2 red flags, last week: 3 = better 9 green flags, before: 7 = better
  18. Don't be frustrated, who knows, maybe without your current actions the scale would have went up in those 3 weeks?
  19. Week 3 Food Logging: B (good discipline, but some hard to log meals) Eggs: A ( 3 of 3) Raw Vegetable/fruit at least 5 of 7 days: A (both 5 of 5) Vegetable: Saturday, thursday, wednesday, tuesday fruit: Friday, thursday, wednesday, tuesday, Monday,
  20. I'm not too concerned over the protein/fat/carb ratio or at least I'm not trying to actively alter it. Basically I'm trying to eliminate the red flags for Vitamins and Minerals. Looking at the values works as motivation for me to find out what food contains the stuff and then trying to eat that. I hope to get into a habit of eating more healthy stuff that way. Vitamin A: I'm trying to get to 100%. Some years ago, my eye specialist prescribed Vitamin A pills. But I only took them once and well I didn't visited a eye specialist for some years now. Even so I really should. In general E;D;K are still a little bit of a fight for me. E might be higher than logged because oil intake is sometimes hard to track.
  21. What kind of bear? And did this happen as selfdefense against it? If you are in any kind of online community, you should really try meeting some of them. It feels great to connect with people you share interests with! And everyone is scared the first time, I promise. I only met two of the 10 persons for the first time, we hold a meeting every year and even had a real life wedding . I'm pretty proud of this guild, as we managed to exist for 5 years now, and most people that manage to get invited, stay with us for a long time. Finally now, the recap of last week: Week 2 Food Logging: C I wasn't able to log everything I ate during the guild meeting. Eggs: A ( 3 of 3) 1X Saturday, Friday, monday Raw Vegetable/fruit at least 5 of 7 days: B (Vegetable only 4 of 5) Vegetable: Saturday, thursday, wednesday, tuesday fruit: Friday, thursday, wednesday, tuesday, Monday, Main Goal: I think I'm making baby steps into the right direction Potassium/Sodium: better Omega und Sodium ratio: worse 3 red flags, last week: 5 = better 7 green flags, before: 6 = better l
  22. Hi, sorry to hear about your sugar crash. I don't know much about diabetes, but could measure your blood sugar before injecting the insulin and changing the dose accordingly? Last week I somewhere read about the effect of excercise short before eating on the insulin levels. http://www.latimes.com/health/la-he-exercise-snack-20140614-story.html
  23. It's been some time, please share some details and busy gifs!
