  1. O.K. I have not been on for a bit. I have not stopped training. (Just stopped checking my computer.) Cheechoo got with me yesterday and had me do the weekly challenge. 10 rounds single kicks = 80 10 rounds single kicks = 80 10 rounds double kicks = 160 10 rounds double kicks = 160 5 rounds triple kicks = 120 5 rounds triple kicks = 120 22 rounds single kicks = 176 22 rounds single kicks = 176 Total = 1,072 Kicks (At lunch) Then went home and started training with my guys. (We are training out of my garage. Nice and convenient.) I did (10 rounds single kicks = 80) on a cinder block with my knee (The one I was balancing on) at a 30-45 Degree angle. I only had two cinder blocks and wanted to do it with my guys so I stayed on my block while they alternated. It took a bit longer because we had to slow it down so no one would fall of their cinder block, but it was fun to push everyone this way. They also knew I was not going to hit them with a broom handle if I was in-front of them doing the same thing. I ended up doing 6 more rounds of (10 rounds single kicks = 80) for 480 more "Around the world kicks". So a Total = 1,552 Kicks (For the Day)
  2. Thanks. We still have one more procedure to go, but lucky for us it's not a life and death kind of thing. Just time, money, and pain. Then again what hospital visit isn't all of those things. (Well unless you are visiting) Thanks. Yea everything goes out the window when my family needs me. Thanks. She is doing well, and yes I always treat my Queen like weeeell a Queen. Thanks. Cheech has been keeping me busy at the gym when our schedules match up. Hopefully soon we can get back to her Dojang so she can give me a proper butt kicking. Because it was so damn cute. Update I have been keeping up with my gym time for the most part, but I have had some time off from my class time in the evenings. I got a call from my Master that he is leaving the Dojang he is teaching at and he and I will be training in my garage again as soon as all my crap clears up. So I will get a lot more time training one on one with my master. He and I trained in my garage for about a year and a half, so this is nothing new to us. It does make for some really long training sessions.
  3. Friday Friday was a good day. Pushed it and got done about 10 min early. I did more blocking technique with the time I had left. Sat/Sun Was in the hospital with my wife. She is goinf to be o.k... Monday Got a good workout in. Did some extra body hardening today. Tuesday Hoping today will be another good day. Tomorrow I will not be working out. I will be back at the hospital with my wife. I have A LOT of personal stuff going on and don't know how much I will be on my computer in the next couple weeks. I will try to check in as much as possible.

  6. Wednesday Still a little tired but got to the gym and got most of my workout in. I spent the last 1/2 hour teaching/working someone else. Thursday Almost back to normal. I got my workout in and did my extra stretching and body hardening. Spent some extra time worked on my blocking technique flow.

  9. Tuesday Almost got my normal workout in (A friend showed up and we chatted away the time) but got some exercise in while we chatted. Wednesday Got a good push in my workout today. Some extra stretching and body hardening. Worked on blocking while I was climbing stairs. Thursday Worked out with a friend. Not quite as hard as I normally do. (Had to cut it short) But it was fun so that's all that matters. Friday Really pushed today. Got in all my stretching and body hardening with 10 min to spare. I didn't need to get back to work right away so I turned the 10 min into about 45 min... Good workout day for me. Saturday Started to feel a little like I was catching a cold so all I did was my yard work (Mow, Edge, Ect...) and stretched, but nothing else. Sunday Yea I now officially have a cold. Monday Still sick, but have to register my daughter for school today, and its my wife's birthday. Lots to do. (Run, Run, Run) (Then TRY to get some rest) Tuesday Taking the day off work to spend with the family. Its the last day of summer vacation for my little one. Hopefully I will feel better. Wendsday Crossing my fingers for a normal day....
  10. Week 3 Shun-SHENG duh gao-WAHN, this woman kicks some serious Ho Tze Duh Pi Gu. This week I train with River, bred by The Alliance to be the Ultimate Assassin. River can dance the dance of combat better than anyone I've ever seen. It's gonna be a might hard keeping up with her, but I reckon I'll try. Combat training this week until my body aches like back in the war. We dancing? I feel bruises forming.

  12. Friday 100 push-ups / mountain climbers / modified dips / lunges was all I got at the gym. I didn't make it home until close to my bed time so I didn't get the stretching or body hardening I wanted in, but when I got home I did mow the yard with my knees at about a 30 - 45 degree angle while a worked. I waited until I was in my backyard to do this. I am sure that I looked like a mad man, but as long as no one can see me....... Great workout for my legs. It felt very Monty Python-ish Saturday Lots of running around. Shopping for my little one to go back to school. Other that stretching before everyone woke up... Nothing Sunday Went to our local water-park (Splash Town) so I did a-lot of stair climbing but nothing else today either. Monday Normal workout today. Did some extra stretching and body hardening.

  14. I can take more time on a ladder. So to me it feels less intense. Wednesday Did my normal workout with some added energy. Got it done with 7 min to spare and went to run the stairs and shadow box for the last few min I had.. Thursday Its been a while since i did two ladders in a week so I spent today doing another ladder. I used to spend 40-45 min doing a ladder. I got today's ladder done in 33 min. Then went to run 30 flights of stairs while shadow boxing and then did 6 rounds of jump rope at 1:10 each. In between each round of jump rope I did body hardening. So all in all I got a good workout in today.
  15. Wednesday I did 60 pushups, 30 Burpees, and 9 Min in Plank. Thursday Been a while since I did two ladders in a week so I went ahead and did another ladder today. Adding another 270 Pushups / 210 Squats / 30 Burpees / 9 Min Plank Edit Taught class tonight so I made the class do 30 Burpees 40 Lunges 40 Pushups
