    Bye Bye Sugar

OK week four apart from being sick at the start of it was pretty good. Feeling like I am getting the hang of this reduced sugar thing, cravings are become less frequent and easier to manage. YAY! Bye Bye Sugar

Week three update: Not the greatest of weeks. As some major sugar cravings kicked in I did learn that if I ensure I eat breakfast, with plenty of protein and some carbs, and then when I crave sugar in the afternoon I have a green & strawberry tea then it gets much easier to get through the day. Week 3 10-Aug 11-Aug 12-Aug 13-Aug 14-Aug 15-Aug 16-Aug Sugar reduction 62 41 97 44 40 85 Sick Sleep 07:16 07:10 07:17 07:16 06:39 09:53 Sick Squat 40 Deadlift Sick

    Bye Bye Sugar

Love my new shoes, they are Under Armour Micro G Sting 2, having new shoes gives me a lil extra motivation when needed, also my Nerd Fitness singlet arrived yesterday so immediately wore it to the gym today, it felt sooooo good. I'm in New Zealand, so That Sugar Film came out about a month ago, loved it. A couple of work mates have seen it to which is good, gets some discussions going and easier to keep accountable.

    Bye Bye Sugar

I'm pleased with my lifting progress, even got new shoes and worked with my trainer today, she thinks I need to push the squats more. Although I am on average getting better with my sugar consumption but not as good as I would like, had some weird food/hunger cravings today. So I am doing good, but not as well as I would like, but that's fine I have 4 1/2 more weeks to go. Thanks for checking in

  8. Thanks for the support, the couple of weeks back with my family in my home town was tough. But I did manage to control as many meals as possible and not eat too much baking. I am now back home and back at work. While I am still not completely ok emotionally as it was someone I was extremely close with. I am at least back to work and my normal routine. SO just trying to get back into the swing of things at the gym and in the kitchen,a trip to the farmers market will help. My main focus from here on out will be to control the need/want for emotional eating when I get down. I will hopefully be back to normal routines, strength, weight etc by the end of this week.
  9. Hi, I have always struggled with emotional eating. When I'm home I'm pretty good at not keeping it in the house and removing the temptation. But if I am at work or on my way home it is very easy to pop into somewhere and buy something I shouldn't. However things are extra hard at the moment as I am staying with family as we go through a bereavement and people keep bringing food around etc. I know it is a sad time and I shouldn't be worrying too much, but I am also aware that if I just eat everything given to me I going to undo a lot of my hard work over the last year, but I also don't want to be rude. Any ideas or suggestions?
  10. Hey I'm from Christchurch but living in Wellington, loving the amount of other Nerds that like being fit as well on here and that I'm not the only one.
