  1. Still alive and still doing the challenge. I'm just REALLY busy AAH! I plan to update and do a challenge summary on Sunday.
  2. Holy shite things are getting heavy, but I'm still able to do it 4th of July Friday Yep still got my lift on before I went out! I took Jess's and Matty's advice and did two warm up sets with the bar. StrongLifts A Day Squats 2x5 - 45lbs 5x5 - 70lbs Bench Press 2x5 - 45lbs 5x5 - 60lbs Rows 2x5 - 55lbs 5x5 - 70lbs The Following Monday I drank too much over the weekend and was still feeling sick on Monday, so no workout Wednesday - Week 5 StrongLifts B Day Squats 2x5 - 45lbs 5x5 - 75lbs OHP 2x5 - 45lbs 5x5 - 60lbs Deadlift 1x5 - 55lbs 1x3 - 75lbs 1x5 - 95lbs I felt like a real warrior after that one! Almost about to break 100lbs on deadlift! RAWR! So yeah, I drank a little more than I should have this weekend, and I probably ate a bit more, but no big, I'm mostly focused on getting stronger and a totally got my protein requirement from BBQ chicken, ribs, and tri-tip. I didn't keep a record on Friday and Saturday, but every other day I did. I didn't drink any diet soda or regular soda. I stuck to vodka tonics. I might scale back in the drinking for the next challenge, but I just turned 21 damnit lol. I've been good about my stretching and now I'm warming up better!

  4. Awesome lifts!!! I partied hardy over the weekend too lol. And omg all the food! Let's get it done this week and next!
  5. That's a good idea. I'll definitely add some warm up sets! Omg my 4th of July was so crazy, I haven't had time to update. I'll give the full update after the gym tomorrow. I'm still alive

  8. I love how you keep at it with the same intensity even with the knee. Was the Mexican place called Casablanca? I live in Venice Beach!
  9. Wow that first guy was a complete asshole and loser. I never had someone try to pull something like the second guy did, luckily I'm usually protected and I haven't been lifting for that long. I'm sure I'll encounter something like that sooner than later. It's nice having support, I should treat him to something. Ok down to business. Here's Friday: StrongLifts B Day Squats: 1x5 - 45lbs 5x5 - 55lbs OHP: 1x5 - 45lbs 5x5 - 50lbs Deadlift: 1x5 - 75lbs Deadlift is starting to feel a lot more natural! Stretches - check! Calories and Protein - check! Oh! And no Diet DP either!
  10. I get the stares. They're mostly flattering and it doesn't bother me. If a guy is straight creepin, the big dude that I workout with 2/3 of the time, stares at them back. He's really muscular and gay and really plays it up like he's checking them out. They usually get uncomfortable and stop staring at me lol. Guys will approach me on Friday, when my friend can't join me, but most of them have been nice and helping me with my form. If I get a creeper vibe I tell them that I'm just here to do my workout and put my headsets firmly back on. I know a lot of the trainers, so I'm never really alone on the weight floor.
  11. Once the badge merits are decided, someone could volunteer or if there is a lot of interest, there could be a competition.
