That was my thought as well. If it were push up burpees I would NOT have been up to the challenge haha.

I found this article very helpful. I would check out stuff by Ryan Ford or maybe the Tapp Brothers as well.

The challenge ends today, correct?

My legs are dead. But I think I can drag myself out for a walk or maybe a couple more lunges. Nice job everyone!
Ours is the fury!

Just came back from my run. I'm beyond tired. I stopped every once and awhile to do lunges, which felt like death. But it was worth it.

Added my stats. I'll be going running shortly so that should brings us up a little bit for our distance.

17/ 4/15:
Did a good workout at the gym. Started off with a quick 1/2 mile run then went and lifted weights.
This isn't a particularly organized entry, will make better records next time.
Achievements:
Bard achievement: Wrote a couple paragraphs in sci-fi story idea.
Strength achievement: Lifted 55 pounds on the tricep pull at the gym.
Anti-Junk food achievement: Haven't partaken in any fare that would be deemed unhealthy.

Hope I'm not to late to answer the call! But I'm ready to make the other houses shake in fear at the thought of House Baratheon!

First off, love the theme!
Second, sorry to hear about the elbow. Recovery after an injury is always a bit frustrating.
Good luck on your challenge!

So, I've been slacking for a while, ever since I came back from a trip to Europe (which was the greatest time of my life!). I have just gotten back on my diet, two weeks after returning home and my workout schedule, it was sad before but its worse now. Well its time to get back on track.
I've been watching a lot of Xena: Warrior Princess lately so that's the theme I've picked for this challenge.
Main Objectives:
1. More frequent workouts; five to six days a week. This includes Parkour training.
Parkour goals:
1. Perfect Safety vault: Learn to adapt to each space, learn to transition it into a dismount.
2. Work on dive roll: Find a low fence or chain and work on diving over it.
3. Work on balance: By balancing on rails.
4. Keep working on roll: Start rolling on pavement more frequently.
2. Tighten diet; No cheats, no exceptions. Stay true to paleo like Xena stays true to Gabrielle. ( Xena + Gabrielle = OTP).
3. Go running more often; I am participating in a 5K in May which I am really excited about. Its not particularly far but I want to be ready anyway.
But wait! Can't forget the side quests. I am a writer so there is a lot of writing goals in here.
Side Quests:
1. Make at least 3 new paleo recipes.
2. Start and finish at least one yoga program.
3. Write at least 15 pages of my new book idea.
4. Start writing with another project that a friend wants me to co-write with her.
5. Avoid junk food. A bit cliche but not a bad idea.
6. Finish watching Star Trek TNG.
7. Start and finish Xena cosplay. That's right I'm doing a cosplay, and a craft heavy one at that. I would like to take it to a con soon if I get it done.
Well thats it. And as Xena says AIAIAIAIAIAIAIAIAIA!

Put off the start of the challenge since yesterday. I want to start fresh tomorrow. Its hard to come home after a long day then go work out cause your so tired but its gotta be done.

26/2/15:
Didn't workout due to lack of energy.
Skills day tomorrow, time to really crack down. I think Sunday may be the perfect day for a conditioning day...
-
25/2/15:
Did the bodyweight work out today. Really pushed myself. I did 8 push ups which, though it may sound sad, is a lot. Particularity because the were good form push ups (ninety degree angle elbows). My form was failing a tad towards the end but I managed. Really happy with results today, maybe I'll be able to do ten next time.

20-24/2/15:
Didn't work out because a 24 hour bug and that terrible disease, laziness.
-
19/2/15:
Did a good skills work out. And found a new route in my backyard that I could make a workout of. Had a pretty good time. Worked on rolls as well. I keep hitting my elbow, doesn't hurt but it is a good reminder to keep tight. Need to learn to adapt to the environment a bit more. Will need to work on that.
(This is a backlog)
-
17/2/15:
A little late but did 2 reps of the beginner bodyweight workout. I really need to get more reps in. But my skipping meals (not on purpose) doesn't help for a good workout. Will need to work on both in the next few weeks.

Nicely done! Sometimes you have to push through that ish. You can do it!
No pain, no gain?

So I did a pretty good workout on Saturday. I took a break on Sunday. But my legs are still sore from Saturday. Is it wise to work out? My legs are not so sore I have issue walking or anything but I'm still not sure. If anyone could help, it would be appreciated.
