  1. I would have thought by now that people would have thrown the "women will get bulky by weight lifting" idea out the window. Check out some CrossFit women. Those girls can lift! Women who train for bikini competitions hit it hard in the weight room and evidently they don't bulk up like men. Keep doing what you're doing!
  2. I couldn't even make it 2 minutes into the video without having to fast forward and skip around. I was immediately on my defense when I clicked on this post, but once I read through the comments my temper flare went down. Wow. Simply ridiculous is as much as I'm going to say.
  3. Once I started trying to eating Paleo I tried to drink my coffe black, but I really have a hard time drinking it unless I'm desperate for a a caffeine boost. I've seen a few good suggestions on here that I'd like to try! The coconut oil and butter in coffee sounds like an interesting mix. I'll also have to keep my eye out for the So Delicious coconut creamer.
  4. What does your training look like? I think if you give us a snapshot of what you're doing on your active days we can give you a good response!
  5. I have a really hard time with coconut flour, the texture especially. I know a lot of recipes do have coconut flour in them, but an easy sub is almond flour which yes can be expensive. PaleOMG and NomNomPaleo are two of my favorite Paleo bloggers who have amazing recipes. If a recipe does have coconut flour then make sure to read the comments on their recipe posts because people will ask about substitutes! Good luck!
  6. Hey guys, I'm having a BBQ get together with a group of friends for the 4th of July. I'd like to make some type of Paleo dessert. What are some easy dessert ideas that would be good for a BBQ and that are Paleo? And what Paleo dishes are you making for your 4th of July celebration?
  7. Protein pancakes with egg and banana are my go-to when I'm craving something sweet! Also, sometimes I'll make scrambled eggs with banana. So basically what you use for protein pancakes, but scramble it up! Cook it in coconut oil and top it with some almond butter!
