  1. After trying many different concoctions my morning shake finally has become; - 6 oz. Grapefruit juice - 2 oz. Whole milk - 1 whole banana - 1/3 c. mango slices - 1/4 c. pineapple - 3 heaping Tbs. natural protein powder (full serving has 24g of protein) - 1 tsp. Maca powder - 1/4 tsp. caffeine powder This has served me well and highly recommend it.
  2. Hey klaymates. I just got an interview on Saturday and I'm not going to be able to make it now. It totally sucks not being free to come down, but so does unemployment.

  4. I've been wanting to come to a jam for some time. Most of the reason I'm part of this particular 6 week challenge is to get to where I feel more comfortable with any physical activity, but parkour has peaked my interest to get back in shape. I'm up by the mouth of Big Cottonwood and can get around to pretty much anywhere if there is any interest for canyon runs or bouldering.
  5. Ahh...bright, early and wondering how I've managed this. The non smoking going better than expected. A) I've been a wake and smoke while taking my dogs out for years and I'm just feeling very Zen today. Woke up at my challenged 6:00 (well, a little before. I beat my alarm by two minutes) and got my Yoga in. All that's left is my evening workout that is still in the works. I know it will involve suspension training, but that's as far as I have gotten. And now with no school to worry about until the 14th I have ample time to work my trash off and get moving! Huzzah!

Name: Alton Fundlenut Race: Half-elf Class: One handsome Rogue Height: 5'10" Weight:160 Body Type: Average STR- 2 DEX-3 STA-2 CON-3 WIS-3 CHA-2 A little background is in order; I was for the longest time an avid proponent of slack and general "Meh, I'll do it later." I'm 30, a smoker, generally in good health, though definitely room for improvement. But thanks to NF I've been doing much better and certainly owe much to all who post in the forums. Over the last few months I've dropped 25 pounds just by eating a modified Paleo/Primal diet and cut back my soda intake to one if I feel like it. *Note: this is without any true exercise. All things aside, I'm a desk jockey. Anything from mindless data entry to video game design (not complaining about that one). I've done far too much sitting and not enough doing. I will say that this challenge seems to have come at the perfect time for me and I'm not going to pass up the chance. Onto the goals part; Life Goal: Write my business plan and have my website at least in a testable state. Diet/Fitness Goals: 1) Begin waking at 6:00 a.m. for 15-20 minutes of Yoga before getting ready for school. 2) Completely quit smoking for real this time. 3) Have a set bodyweight routine for 3 nights per week. I think this should cover it for now. Thanks guys and I'm looking forward to the next few weeks!
  7. I've only had experience with climbing, though silks certainly looks cool. (Not my speed, but cool.) Being in such close proximity to the canyons in Salt Lake gives more opportunity for good bouldering with 10-15 minutes from my house.
