  1. oh.... hi there. I've been ummm getting fat and lazy. First there was getting ready for mexico, then there was mexico, then there was post-mexico feeling very unwellness. so yea. that's not exactly how i meant to end this 6 week challenge... The good news is: As of yesterday i'm back on track eating and training wise AND my kitchen is still pretty much clean! Here's my breakdown of how I did on my quests: Quest 1To train as much as possible and not make excuses to skip class. A,B,D,F,FQuest 2To keep my diet in line. A,A,,A, F F,F Quest 3Drink Less Diet Pop. A,A,A,C,F,BA = less then 3 cans per week B = less then 5 cans per week C = less then 7 cans per week F = more then that Life QuestTo keep my kitchen presentableA,A,A,A,B,A So, I started strong, and then life. I should not use that for an excuse though. Next time will be better. My Main goal of competing in medium heavy at the old man worlds is NOT going to happen. It's not feasable. I shall have to adjust that to heavy i think. It's amazing what 2.5 weeks of train wreck eating can do.
  2. Week 3 is over! I went to class 2 times: C (one of those was a 3 h seminar, so that may count as 1.5, and i taught classes 4 days as well (between 2 h and 45 min each time)). I kept it keto(a few days were a bit higher carb then they should have been, but nothing worthy of a fail) : A I had 2 cans of diet pop: A (mostly just being to lazy to get the good stuff). My kitchen is clean! STILL! I've done a bunch of baking, and make sure to leave it cleaner then it was when I started. I've not left dishes over night once! I'm only going to get to class once this week to train, mostly because I'm heading to mexico for a vacation with the in-laws on saturday, so whatever. I'm going to try to keep it keto, but the diet pop ban is going to go out the window. The good thign is my kitchen will stay clean while I'm away.
  3. Week Two Summary! I went to class 0 times: F (I suck, I'm Lazy, I have no real excuse. I meant to train on 3 separate occasions, but found excuses not to. I taught on 4 separate occasions, and my knee was bothering me, but i still should have trained) I kept it keto(a few days were a bit higher carb then they should have been, but nothing worthy of a fail) : A I had 0 cans of diet pop: A+ (I've switched entirely to zevia, which is natural, and sweetened with erithritol and stevia, while technically "pop", it has none of the bad shit, so It doesn't fall under the stuff I'm quiting). My kitchen is clean, still. I left one container in the sink un-washed one night. But other then that it's been clean clean clean. I even completely cleaned my fridge, from top to bottom, taking out the shelves and everything. This week will be better. I am going to class tonight and tomorrow, and I have no real excuse not to go friday either also going to a seminar on saturday, and maybe an open mat sunday. But we shall see.

To recap week 1: I went to class 2.5 times: C I kept it keto with only a couple very small cheats (4 m&ms and a tiny bit of cheesecake, nothing that kicked me out of ketosis): A I had 2 cans of diet pop: A My kitchen is STILL clean: A Not to bad for week one. Week 2 Started Yesterday. I did not go to class, had to unpack, cook some food, do laundry ect from my weekend. poor excuse, but it is what it is. I had a can of diet dr. pepper on the drive home. My kitchen is clean.
  5. Day 4: I did not go to class, because I had to teach, which i think counts as 1/2 I did not drink any pop I kept my food keto mostly full of win! I won't be able to go to class till tuesday now, cos tonight i have a referee seminar, then i'm going camping, with the sevenfootgeek!

  7. New Monk Checking in! I'll be in the back covering with my jiu jitsu, but if the situation gets heavy i can step up and break out my rusty mma, muay thai and whatnot. edit: I trained an hour of Gi jiu jitsu yesterday and an hour of nogi jiu jitsu today!
