  1. It really depends on when I wake up for that day. I get off work around 7 A.M and I try to be up by 3 or 4 and I have to leave for class at least by 5. Class starts at 5:30 and class ends at 8:30. Then I have to work at 10. There is a time gap I know but the problem is. The location of the class that I'm going to is 20 minutes away in another town. I work in that same town as well. I can't afford to drive back and forth since gas is pretty much an issue. Walmart does have a fridge which I probably can put it in there right after class. I'll get a ice pack to keep it cool for the 3 hours and just take it to work right after class. Thanks for the advice everyone. This helps because I've been struggling with this one for a while.
  2. Okay, I have a question for you guys. I work overnight at Walmart part time and I go to school part/full time. Two of my classes are night classes and end just about as soon as I have to go to work which gives me no time to go back home to pick up food for lunch. I can't keep anything in my car due to my class being 3 hours long on both days. When I get my hour lunch break, I have no clue what I can eat that is within Walmart. I have a zip-lock bag filled with nuts and dried fruit for my snacks while I'm working but I do not know what I can do for an actual meal. Can you guys help me out? I'm trying to follow the paleo diet as best as I can. Just kind of stuck on this one.
  3. Aw, apparently I can't watch it in this country.
  4. I've practicing some basic things for parkour and I was wondering does it matter that I practice precision jumps every night or do I need to rest? I remember I got really sore the first time I decided to practice them and wasn't sure when I needed a rest day. Also, what kind of stretches or warmups should I do to prepare for everything that I do and to let my body know when I'm done working it. Are there any ideas on how to condition myself for parkour. I know squats, push-ups, pull-ups ( which I can't even do one), leg lifts, and sit-ups are a must but is there anything else that I can do if I don't feel like this is enough. Also, If I have my core workouts say like Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, will it be fine for me to practice parkour the same day?
  5. I have some questions. I had went to practice precision jumps onto benches and a little bit of other exercises involving my legs. I am completely sore but I was wondering if I should keep doing what I'm doing even though my body is sore. And if I can do again the next day or should I rest and continue the day after? What I'm trying to get at is, I've been thinking about practicing every night because I get really bored but I was wondering when I should be resting. Another question is, what should I do (stretches or warms up) before going to practice and after practice?
  6. I lost 4 lbs since I started doing this XD
  7. So far, I can bench 135 at max. I'm still working on lifting more.
  8. I will probably end up doing 3 sets of push-ups after I wake up and before bed. I am not able to do even one handstand up yet. Guessing my arms aren't strong enough yet. I think I can squeeze in deadlifts with my monday, wednesday, and friday workouts. I will change my goal weight to 240. I just want to have a weight goal so I have something to work towards.
  9. Long term: Get myself to weigh in at 190lbs by my next birthday which is October 18, 2012 not this one coming up.. Mid term: Be able to do assisted dips with 200lbs by March. Bench press 300 by March. Short term: Be able to do 10 handstand push-ups by January 1st. Be able to bench press 200 lbs by January 1st. These are the workouts I chose to do: Dumbbell shoulder press, Dumbbell Bicep curl (until I can do the reverse curl properly), Bench press, assisted dips, and squats. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Does this sound like good goals?
  10. I feel like meeting new people and being able to have fun doing random things around here. I'm not very talkative at first but I can be after awhile. Hopefully, I'll be able to open up more by meeting new people. So if you're here or around here, lets meet up!
  11. Wow, Wilddross. That is awesome! I always had this notion that doing heavy lifting would make you bulking. I see that it was wrong, haha.
  12. Bulking up is the one thing I don't want from this lol
  13. Mostly what I thought was getting me proteins in me but I'm guessing they're not the right ones. I've actually been doing workouts that would burn more calories with lighter weights and more repetitions.
  14. Now to find a way to incorporate that at places such as work because we have a lot of downtime lol
  15. If it's okay, I would like to post questions that come across my mind while re-reading this so burn this into my mind. Question - It wouldn't be bad to do an exercise throughout the day, like say if I get bored (which I usually am and end up just sitting at my computer for long periods of time not doing anything at all) that I just decide to do x amount of burbees just to fill up my time. Would that be okay? It's not always going to be burbees that I do it's just an example.
