  1. Sails, How's your Tuesday going? This DST thing has had me feeling it too. I'm grumy in the mornings as it is, I don't need my sleep thrown off any more. I see you struggle with getting in the workout aspect of your goals too. Did you check into the mini challenge last week? The no equipment needed part (and easier, imo) was mountain climbers - so even if you just did those you'd get to jump in the mini challenge and knock out your own goal. This week it is yoga or meditation. Those both may be of help to you. If you do yoga you get to knock out a workout, and if you meditate when it is close to your goal bed time you may be in a better place.
  2. What if you don't clear your mind, but instead focus? Focus on one thing, phrase, object, color, number, word... whatever, just 1 thing. So, get in a position that is comfortable for your lower back/hip issue and relax your eyes. You don't have to close them to meditate, just relax. Keep your posture comfortable but not slumpy. And picture that one thing in your mind. Roll it over, and over, and over until that is the only thought there.

  4. I'm going to do both. Can't believe I said that. About mini 1, I don't understand what the (Headquarters) gain is for the AT-AT team. Like, I get the differences between STR and STA but just not what the HQ entails? Am I over thinking it?

(Ok, so we got a little crazy and danced in our underoos in the rain, the fog, her living room... we likely did not look this cute but we sure felt it) Q3: Track food Sure did, even stayed in caloric zone despite eating a birthday cheesecake cupcake, having a glass of wine, and going out to dinner.     Gen Pop Question: Do you guys update your challenge thread, your battle log or both? I'm unsure of the purpose of my battle log if I'm going to keep my challenge thread updated.

  16. Decent start yesterday. Updated MFP and decided to delete old account and start fresh. I wanted a clean weight history, recipes, etc. If anyone wishes to add me over there, my username is Osla128. Mini 1 this week I have chosen mountain climbers. I am going to add those onto the end of my day or start my day - haven't fully decided. Going to try to do 1 full minute.

  20. Very excited for challenge start tomorrow I believe I've set up my week for a successful first week as a non-recruit.
  21. I love to dance to just about everything. I would LOVE to take a belly dancing class - maybe one day! Lately I am into the more bohemian/hippie style so anything from Stevie Nicks to Grateful Dead. Or, if you could hear it at a music festival that's what I want.

  23. "Monday's child is fair of face" As I begin a new year I must keep my wits about me. I will likely encounter obstacles both seen and unseen but I refuse to go alone. I shall prepare myself with four talismans of protection. This challenge begins just before my birthday and I have set goals to make this year a healthier, more productive year. My main goal is to reach a healthy weight range. The First Talisman: My feet hit the ground with a purpose each day. I will walk 30 minutes each day. The Second Talisman: I dance with abandon. I will dance to whatever music I please for 15 minutes each day. The Third Talisman: I fill my belly with nutritious offerings. I will track my calories each day. The Fourth Talisman: I create. I will spend 20 minutes each day painting, writing, or knitting. (Life Quest)
