  1. Thanks for the answer. I have similar experiences to yours where if I don't do any core work, my abs don't stick out as much. I guess I just got unlucky with genetics then. But that won't stop me from getting fitter.
  2. I don't really have low bodyfat, my abs still don't show. My current goal is to lose that body fat so my abs will show. The thing is, I'm not sure if my abs look weird because that's just how they are or because I have fat over it.
  3. So a few months ago I posted about my posture and I worked on that, even visited a doctor for it. He also showed me some excersies to do. Now I know what good posture looks like and when I don't flex it looks fine. But when I do flex my abs, it looks something like this. http://imgur.com/4iBDuWQ (by the way, don't look at my derpy face ) Now I'm just wondering if there is a problem of me having underdeveloped lower abs, overdeveloped upper abs, a combination of both or is it something completely different like my posture or maybe just I just look like this? I'm the kind of person that worries about every little detail, but this isn't really a small detail so that makes me worry even more. Please help!!! Thanks in advance for the answers.
  4. I have another question Exorcisto. How do I do chest-to-bar pull ups, just like a regular pull-up except I go up to the chest or is it something different? I've also been working on my glutes unknowingly since I go to soccer practice and we did exercises that actually made my glutes hurt and I also did a lot of running so that helped a lot. I'm going to continue lifting weights, running and doing the exercises you recommended and hopefully in a few months I can at least notice some difference.
  5. Thanks for another answer! Unfortunately I live in a very small town and so we have no gym here. The nearest gym is probably 20km from here so that's really not an option. I will however move to the capital of my country next year so I'll definitely have a gym there. I'll try to do these exercises that you linked at home but I obviously won't be able to do them all. Again thanks for the advice!
  6. Thank you very much for the response. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better answer and I really appreciate it. I don't have access to the gym but I will try to get the equipment I need to do the exercises. By the way, is there anything you can do to prevent this from happening after you "fixed" it? I mean, you can't just straighten your back then go back to sitting 8 hours a day. Again thanks for the great answer!
  7. So I look really weird from the side, my stomach is in front of my chest and it just looks like a mess in general. Here are two pictures, one from the front and one from the side. http://imgur.com/rFugUlm http://imgur.com/dLVZjj7 I've started working on my chest and my abs while also trying to get my diet in order. Is there anything else I can really do or just be patient and continue with what I'm already doing?
  8. Thanks for the answers guys, really appreciate it.
  9. I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the correct forum, so feel free to move this therad to the correct forum. I've been looking though the progress threads on the forums and some people were also posting their body fat percentage and I just wondered how I calculate that. I've never been overweight or whatever, I only have fat in my stomach and chest area and a little around my waist. (I'm a guy by the way ) Thanks in advance.
