  1. Thank you for all the advice! @Draken50: my goals are just to be fit and toned...not like a bodybuilder (even though I know that takes years to do). But, I'll just focus on maintenance for the next 4-6 months like you guys have mentioned and then start bulking from there. Thanks again!
  2. Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm new to free weight training as well. Right now, I'm trying to figure out if I should gain weight or lose weight. I'm 5'1 and 114 lbs. I'm basically skinny fat and most of the fat is on my stomach (especially noticeable when I sit down). At the moment, I'm eating my maintenance calories as I'm still learning form when weight lifting. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
