  1. Yes, yes and YESSS! We're here to feel better and be healthier and happier. How we go about it and how quickly - or slowly - it happens doesn't matter in the end, does it? I mean, okay, you have that epic concert coming up, so there is some sort of time constraint, but there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to enjoy it fully by then (not sure what this adds, but it's too weird and awesome xD)
  2. Day 6! Woaaa, I was tired! I got up at 9 after lying awake for a while. Muscles need rest and repair! (also ate gluten yesterday and that never fails to make feel foggy and extra tired in the morning) Did breathing exercise + a 15 minute meditation Did Japanese practice, also about 15 minutes. Watched Shia (course!) Didn't plan in any workout but ended up walking 40-45 minutes because everything is a 10 or 15 minute walk from our house. Stretching done too! First week is over and I feel very happy about it! Getting up at 9 feels late, which is totally new to me. I'm excited to start week 2
  3. Haha!! Thx for the recommendations
  4. Wow, that's some intense self-care, well done! How did your workout go? Was your arm okay? (Also, this yoga channel sounds nice, I'll check it out!)
  5. Things are moving along nicely! Your tank is beautiful, I love all the plants (and hello fishies from the other picture!) bbq and karaoke, I'm so jealous!!! Injoy!!
  6. Thank you! For now I'm going over the absolute basics, like greetings and counting to 10 xD and the phonetic alphabets, because my books are entirely devoid of romanised words. These are all things I've gone over many times before, so they're pretty burnt into my memory. It's both easy and rewarding But I'm definitely not expecting that to continue when I get to new material, or even just into grammar. I'm already dreading going over the particles again, argh! As Shia would say, if you're tired of starting over, just stop giving up! Let's try and keep it up this time!
  7. Day 5! Woke up naturally at 8:30, so looks like I'm slowly moving my circadian rhythm Did breathing exercise + meditation this morning. Practiced Japanese this afternoon (sadly, Katakana didn't stick as well as Hiragana). Did a simple body weight routine and, wow! I was able to do 3 x 6 knee push ups! I did not think I could do that!!! Stretching also done. Just got my daily dose of Shia. Night!
  8. Great start! Are you only keeping what sparks joy? Yayyyy! Fishies! I don't know anything about fish species so I'm looking up those you mentioned, they're beautiful!! 8D I like your attitude, don't fix it if it ain't broken, hehe! I mean, girl, this goal is TOUGH! I did not even include looking for a job in my challenge (unemployed club, weee) It's a stressful situation for sure, but I hope you're able to not feel too badly pressured. Hug! Yay for PT and take it easy! I hope I didn't come across as minimising your experience when I mentioned my sprains, I remember that you went through many injuries (I also remember your insane levels of pain tolerance! You had stumped your toe and felt some pain, but didn't realise, nor considered, that it was broken until much later!) Boss Monster!
  9. Final update today: done my stretches, am in my pyjama and ready to go to bed soon. But before... Good night!
  10. Day 4! Woke up at 8:30 again Did breathing exercise + meditation (though my mind suuuuuper restless today) Watched Shia this morning (and might fit in one more do it tonight, can't get enough of it apparently) Got in my Japanese practice finally! I'm really happy that I did not forget my Hiragana despite an 8 months break I didn't feel like doing sweaty exercise so I tried Qi Gong off Youtube this afternoon. It was way more intense than I'd thought! I'll try to do my stretches and night routine before 22:00 from now on, so that I can go to bed as soon as I start to feel tired and, at most, only have to brush my teeth.
  11. Thanks! It popped up in my youtube feed too, so I'm extra curious now I like Duolingo a lot, as side practice. I have a book to learn grammar, vocabulary, etc. with structured units and all kinds of exercise, and I always liked Duolingo on the side to recap things I know, reuse vocab, etc. I never recommend it on its own though. But knowing about Reindeers is all important for you now, for sure! haha!
  12. AWESOME I'm sad people make fun of him, I find his Do it video super powerful and sincere. Thanks for stopping by Little Turtle
  13. It's probably not how you feel, but your daily log today is beautiful. Hug.
  14. I can imagine that writing in Hangul is considerably harder than reading it. It's great that you have the will to learn the language more, I hope I'll be around here when you're able to get into it more! It'll be great And watching K-dramas is always good! I know my extremely basic knowledge of Korean is entirely thanks to them xD (btw, any recommendations of good dramas at the moment?)
  15. Wow! Good luck learning Swedish! (I know Frozen is set in Norway, but this guy totally is a Swedish parody xD) All I know if fika xD it sounds beautiful though + being German and a total language Genius, you'll be a star for sure! So happy that the move wasn't too stressful for your dog! I can tell he's super well cared for Edit: Weeee! Awesome day! You go girl!
  16. Heya! How was your day? I'm also curious to know how doggo handled the move?
  17. Oh, no!!! Sorry to hear you felt like this! I hate this feeling when pushing too hard (every time I try HiiT) It's great that you're adjusting your chart to fit where you're at now. I guess you never really know until you try it. Tomorrow's rest day sound luuuvely! Yes, TV shows recommendations for me too, hehe! I haven't seen any of these shows, so there's lots to explore! I'll let you know once I'm done with a couple of my current shows Take care!
  18. Sorry... here's a virtual beach to walk on. Now close your eyes. Feel the warm sand under your feet and hear the soft ebb and flow of the waves... Thank you! Yes! He's been the thing I'm the most grateful for in my life for the past 7 years.
  19. Ugh, DOMS! I'm really curious about this, because I'm also still sore from my Tuesday workout (I didn't particularly overdid it, I just pushed a little), but I know, for example, that my mum never gets DOMS ever, even if she hasn't trained for a while. Why is this?? xD I hope the soreness doesn't last too long Also, I forgot to answer your question about TV! (love talking about tv shows!) Currently, it's Ru Paul's Drag Race All star (final episode today! aaaah!), Big Dreams, Small Spaces (that's one title), A Very Secret Service and I just started Always a Witch (because witchezzzzz!) + slowly going through Hana Nochi Hare. Also just finished The Good Place and Friends From College. What about you?
  20. Day 3! Got up slightly late due to being totally dead and unable to move for a while xD also failed to practice Japanese again. Did breathing exercise + meditation in the morning Went for a beach walk this afternoon, got in about 1 hour in total Watched Shia with hubby tonight, still awesome! Overall, I feel good and happy about the day. Tomorrow I"ll get started on Duolingo again, that'll help with structure. Let's stretch and go to sleep!
  21. Yeah, I've sprained my foot and ankle several times (though never tore ligaments, yikes!), therapy can be a bish! Beauty Recovery is pain (sometimes), I hope the pain decreases fast. Soon you'll be off to new adventures, standing on that strong foot!
  22. I love all of this! You're full of wisdom and you know what your body and mind need Honestly, all the props and good jobs to you! Awesome charts! Fantastic work out (and figuring out how to make it work for your needs)!
  23. Yes! We're going up Awesome for the PT, you can finally start your recovery! (was looking for a cute cat gif, mehehehe xD)
