  1. Name: Alicata Race: Changeling Height: 5'4" Gender: Mutable, Female. Identifies as 'It' Ability Scores: N/A ✥ Introduction ✥ Prologue: A Village in Mist ✥ Chapter I: The Emperor's Road PROLOGUE: A VILLAGE IN MIST August 25th - September 7th [Main Quest] Packing For A Great Journey Gathering gears and supplies inevitably made the Changeling recall earlier life in the village. Moving always create a mound of things no longer of use, a trail of scattered corpse of an era- this one was sprawled from the living room to the bedroom. One of the window panes shivered. The cottage was placed further uphill than most of the settlements, the sound of the wind, it noticed, coiled calmer than few moments before. The windows were closed shut. Alicata tried to remember how long it has been there. It failed, but it knew that this stint of wandering had went on for atleast five, six years. Fleeing what each time felt like a threat to its safety. It paused, correcting itself. Few times the reason had been simply boredom, that close cousin to disappointment. This was too, it sighed, quiet, Such a nice place to live. 1. Acquire Boots & Coat [sTA] • Start introducing regular, light cardio and stretching. • Total cardio of 3-4 hours per week (or, say, 30 minutes every day). 2. Acquire Map & Journal [WIS] • Concoct a food/fitness journaling system. • Compile a rough plan of goals and how to get there. Don't go too far/complicated. • Stalk people's Challenge and Battle Log threads. 3. Acquire Relic [Motivation] • Write reasons why I should get healthier and fitter in a (real) book. • Clean up and organize facebook and twitter feeds into something resembling civilized life. [Just for my sanity] ◇◇◇ This is like.. a 2 week pre-challenge? I just registered and it's a bit too late for joining the current challenge. This doesn't count as a Challenge and I won't earn any ability scores, but would make a nice training ground kind of map. As it is, my feeding pattern is decent if boring (I think, might post some food log), but activity-wise very sedentary. So the current task is to move more, and more often. Still tweaking/testing the PC ♥
  2. “For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn't understand growth, it would look like complete destruction.†― Cynthia Occelli
  3. I make my liver into meatloaves (..liverloaves?). 5:3 seared beef liver:ground pork/beef, some caramellized onions, pepper, salt, multigrain breadcrumbs, a bit egg. Pulse in food processor. (I could give you a recipe but a lot of these are 'to taste') Bake until done, cut into slices, freeze. To eat I microwave the slice and pan-cook with soysauce and a bit sugar.
  4. I don't really (no longer?) write, but I roleplay and I make stories/worlds without writing them down into narrative format, just notes. I have so many worlds/planets now I don't know what to do with them. Other than making maps. I love tweaking the (concepts of) societies and watch how they develop (or destroy themselves really).
  5. In a remote village slowly claimed by ruin, within a nondescript small cottage, silently sat a Changeling who forgot their real self. The road had been far for them. It tasted the days, sometimes years, wearing the lives of a portly butcher, a slaver, an aide to a later-fallen minor king, a war beggar, a battered wife, a sage-oracle, a hardworking husband; so many faces-- partly true (they always were, to a point), mostly false. Its original form was female, that much it remembered. It didn't make it feel any more genuine. The heavy, unnatural mist descended like a shroud outside. Like myriads of miniscule white insects, coming to feast. It was impossible to deny any longer that the village was succumbing to decay. Like many places in the diseased realm, the land was dying. Losing to rot. The Changeling could've stayed, but its fate would've been sealed. Leaving would not be easy, there'd be many dangers, it would need to get stronger, far more resourceful than it'd ever been. It would have to remember who it really was. A howl screamed, only few streets away. It decided to survive. •◇•◇•◇•◇•◇•◇•◇• Out of Character Hi! I'm Alicata. Just found the place and it looks awesome. (dragging two of my friends here too, let's see if they show up..) I roleplay, and have read d&d books but never played a campaign consistently (the group tend to break up first). My specialty is roleplaying tank-type males. Escapism against how IRL I'm a pathetically tiny-boned female, maybe. It's been awhile since I 'played' a female, but yeah, it'd probably be weird (not to mention counter-productive) if I joined the Rebellion as my usual dashing, robust hulk of a male. :'D I'm somewhat familiar with diets and nutrition (having been both heavier and thinner), and would like to think I eat pretty decently lately, but I still avoid exercise like a Warp-born plague. Which must change. Used to dance up to about 15, Ballet then Jazz, then after getting into highschool they just fell into the wayside. I'd like to dance again. Fandom wise my favorites are Warhammer 40k and Berserk. I read SF/Fantasy novels and watch documentaries when remember to. What else.. into makeup as well. I draw. Kinda prefer TV series than movies, just gotten into very-ew-but-awesome-so-far The Strain (watched while repeatedly grumbling 'why do I do this to myself'). So yeah. Nice to meet you guys! So excited.
  6. Aw, but thankyou for the answer! Yeah I think I'll go and stalk people for the time being while preparing my 'campaign'. Also maybe build up a bit stamina before the challenge. Next challenge should be around September 14th? Thankyou!
  7. A teaspoon of peanut butter, 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt, or a small cup of milk. If really hungry, I just eat a small (?) homemade dinner roll.
  8. Hello! Just joined too and wondering if I should wait for the next challenge. There's about 2.5 weeks until the current one ends, would it still counts?
