::happy dance:: I waaas riiiight, I waas riiight~! I've maintained my weight this week so I'm still losing 1 pound a week! Yay!
-
Gained two pounds but with my high sodium intake, my physical condition, and my increased exercise, I'm chalking it up to water weight. Also, met my minimum goals of the day even though I felt depressed and self-loathing to try to make myself feel accomplished. Thank you, Fitbit!
-
Miscalculated on a recipe. Hoping the exercise I did made up for going 266 over my 1300 calorie limit. Fitbit counts steps, after all, but not that I was wearing a heavy backpack full of books for about half of my walking.
-
Understand that none of this matters from day to day but over the course of months and years. Also understand that trying to justify a slip easily leads down a slippery slope. If you screw up then admit that you did, suffer a little more tomorrow, and move along.
-
^^^ This. 266 calories don't matter in the scheme of things. What matters is that you noticed
-
^^^^ Agreed. Seriously, I fell off the bandwagon a bit yesterday (and by a bit I mean I had a huge soba noodle soup with fake crab and a lot of frozen yogurt). Just gonna get right back on it and get back into my healthier habits.

Had a slightly bigger dinner than I would have but still enough to lose weight. Having tea for a snack because I feel like it more than I do cereal and milk, as I was going to have before, and I got nervous about eating too much of my exercise calories. Only went over regular calories by 32.
-
When MFP tells you you have -86 net calories and you're feeling run down, it's time to give yourself permission to eat whatever you want.
-
It's not worth it. I'm just going to eat normally and have a conservative meal when I'm out with my friends. I won't go hungry just to have the reassurance because I always undereat and not feel good after.
-
FINALly! I haven't said anything because there's stuff you can't HEAR, we must go through to learn. But no, you can't go on 1,200 cals a day.
Eating is good, eating is fun, and it might take you a little longer to lose all the weight you think you want, but every kilo is a success. The goal is to learn to eat better, no to go famished.
-
Sounds like you're having some learns! 1200 is bananas unless you're incredibly petite or totally sedentary. Eat food to fuel your body and workouts. The rest will fall into place.
-
Have you calculated your BMR? It's kinda not good to go under that.

Who loves spicy tea? I love spicy tea! Is it true? Mm-hm! I do, I do, I do-ooo~!
-
Increased potassium based on MFP's tracking my intake and seeing it lacking. I think it's helping. .
-
Weighed myself yesterday. Went from 151 to 148. I'm getting closer to my goal.

Yay!

Congrats!! :]

Thanks, guys!

Ate under my calorie goal yesterday because I ate light earlier, saving my appetite for dinner with friends. Doing the same today. Missing my regular, mostly evenly distributed, meals but it's worth it to stick to my diet while still having fun over the weekend without worry that I've gone over.

Just took a walk around my quiet college campus. So relaxing! I loved it!
-
Everyone talks about trusting the process and taking things step by step. That is the exact thing I need to work on the most, I think.

Typing with a burned dominant hand is...painful. Stupid split pea soup...jumping up to burn me...

Recover quickly! Good luck!

Ouch! Burns suck! I knew there was a reason I didn't like Pea soup...
TMedina: *giggle snort*

Thanks for the well-wishes, guys!

Just one week left of this class and I'm on to my next one! Looks like I'm going to have to wear a sweater under my chef's coat for a while...
-
Maybe it's better that I stayed home, ate a bit more than usual and played a little DDR instead. I'm going to bed early and hoping it'll bring back my energy levels.
-
I'm going to have to eat a huge dinner if I want to go to that weights/cardio class. I'm exhausted already...
-
Lost a pound, so..."slow and steady wins the race"?
-
Since I've been walking about 12,000 to 15,000 and above steps a day and climbing over 10 flights of stairs, I've decided to change my MFP status to "active". Is this wise?
-
So far so good with Fitbit One, once I calibrated it. I'm sort of disappointed to find there is no Nerd Fitness Fitbit group but I really don't want to be the leader. I joined other ones, though.
-
Planned to get a simple pedometer but ended up splurging on a Fitbit One in burgundy. I'm going to try it now, hoping this is going to be worth the credit card debt. Anyway, I'm going to walk to Mordor, finally!
