  1. Week 5 and Week 6 (/bigsigh) Life continued to get in the way. I got sick and couldn't take any time off to really recover so it hung on for a really long time. I still have remnants of it. I thought maybe I could make it through these two weeks, but I just couldn't. Zero energy. When defeat is imminent, pick the battles you can win. Rather than give up completely I at least tried to do some stuff, even if it wasn't what I had set out to do. I don't consider it enough for even partial credit though. So here it is.... Week 5 Quest 1: 1 Day Quest 2: 1 Day Quest 3: New Recipe: Baked Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans) (http://www.hungry-girl.com/askhg/show/2686-making-over-family-favorites-plus-an-hg-recipe-from-dr-oz#chickpeas), fairly good actually. Quest 4: Piano everyday so 7 (I refused to give up on this one) Week 6 Quest 1&2: 0/7 days so far, and I really don't see getting a chance to do anything at this point. :/ Quest 3: A crockpot mexican chili (I had it at the work Christmas party and made it at home (pretty much a throw everything in type recipe - meat, beans, can of tomatoes spices, etc (I lost the recipe already and my boss is out of town so she can't give it to me till she gets back) Quest 4: Piano 5/7 so far----
  2. Week 4 Summary - This week was ridiculously busy, not trying to make excuses, but it was. It's also the reason I'm posting it so late, as it's bleeding over into this week. Holiday season and all. Quest #1: Workout - 2.5 times this week Quest #2: Walking - 2 times this week Quest #3: Recipe - Didn't get to it this week Life Quest: Piano - All days this week

  4. Well, apparently my last copied item was my challenge thread....boring.....so here's the world's funnest dog... http://www.humoar.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/no-smoking-drinking-skateboarding-dogs.jpg

  6. I just realized I forgot to post my recipe this week. This was so good, so easy and really actually relatively inexpensive... http://myfridgefood.com/recipes/entree-pork/sweet-slow-tenderloin/ 2 pound Pork Tenderloin 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce 1 TBS Yellow Mustard 2-3 TBS maple syrup (I used real maple syrup - the regular stuff has too many unpronounceable ingredients) 2 TBS olive oil 2 TBS Diced dried onions (I used granulated onion) 1 1/2 TSP Garlic Salt or Powder Throw pork in the crock pot - mix up all the other stuff - pour over the pork - Cook on high 6 hours (I cooked on low additional 2 hours after) - Eat
  7. Week 3 Summary Quest #1 - 3/3 days Quest #2 - 2.5/3 days Quest #3 - Tried new recipe on Tuesday, OMG it was good... Life Quest - 6/7 days This week had the one built in day that I accounted for doing absolutely nothing, because I knew that nothing was going to get done. I made a broad interpretation of my quest #1, but since the intention is about functional strength, I'm going to count it.
  8. Sounds like things are going great for you. I just started following you, I thought I was, but apparently I didn't. So I fixed that.
  9. Heya, just checking in and seeing how things are going for you. Let us know if you need any help or encouragement or anything.
  10. Looks like you're staying on track, WTG! Keep up the good work!
  11. Good luck with everything. Hopefully that flu bug is gone and you're feeling a lot better. Let us know how things are going this week.
  12. Sounds great. If you're concerned about your form have someone knowledgeable watch you or video and post to the form check forum. I hope everything goes well at the doc's.
  13. Thanks! I'm feeling better about getting things done this week, since it is a "lazy" week so to speak.
  14. 1/3 serving each of Walnuts, Almonds and Pistachios - just finished eating it.
