  6. I may not run again because monies but I will certainly be here. Because, well, I live here. *two air mattresses so you can actually fit. You know if I'm drinking slapping you often seems like a good idea to me.
  7. I've definitely done the White Dot trail...can't quite remember if I've done the White Arrow down. I think I have. It is a very nice hike. Doing it with 20 lbs added weight was very rough, but that was my first-ever time doing an added-weight anything.
  8. How intensive is the trail? As in can I wear Teva-style sandals? Had an ingrown toenail and it's still healing and is not a fan of prolonged walking in closed-toe shoes.

  10. Yeah I went to check out the RunBase marathon weekend but quickly realized that was a bad idea. And I was not there on Friday and won't be again this Friday
  11. Okay okay, no regreps! Week 4 in the books, it was pretty good. I did less with the running out of being paranoid about my knee so hopefully with some stretching and rolling that will prove to have been smart. Sunday and Monday did slow run/walks with J. It's starting to get hot here so we are reacclimating to the heat and taking it slow when warm outside. Also it was to take it easy on my knees. Here's the summary: With "Walk" of course being stairs.
  12. Today: Deadlifts I should have stopped one rep earlier. I felt my form starting to slip and my last one was really bad. I just really wanted that last one. Bad Tin! Live to lift another day!
  13. It's true. I am the most sketchy. And Daddy Jones does have the roasted chicken dinner with sweet potato and kale.
  14. Yup, hence the crazy high reps. I know from experience that will "fix" itself in a couple of cycles.

  18. I've done that before. I have a "Deep Thoughts" folder in my Google Docs that has random missives in it.
  19. Final spamming of my own thread: gf and I both got into the BAA 10k! We were camping on the site for the moment registration opened up to make sure we both got spots.

  23. Woo Magoun Saloon! For some reason though Magoun is not much closer it feels closer. Probably because it is a straight shot down Main St. Moving is stressful but it can be exciting to plot how to set things up in a new place. I love when this happens. Gradual moves are the best moves.
