  1. Experiment with what works for you... Personally I prefer lifting on fasting days, in a fasted state having only had water...
  2. Like said above, stay busy. Drink water when you get a craving. The worst times are when there's nothing to do. I fast every 3rd day (18 hour fast). At this point it doesn't even matter anymore, I could easily go 24 hours+ without having a meal.
  3. I've been progessing solidly. Just haven't posted up. Down to <210. 10 more lb to go till i hit my short goal to reevaluate.
  4. Got back in the weight room today. Felt like crap. Been eating alright last few days. Down 6lb still even after the falling off the wagon and eating terribly. I need to refocus but I'm having trouble. Gotta re-find my motivation.
  5. Haven't worked out in 5 days. Have been eating like crap. All these issues at home really derailed me. I need to get back on it hard.
  6. I didn't read Loren's post right above mine... Sorry to hear. Thanks for the words dudes. Wife and I have had a hard time of it this week, but I think we have come to resolution regarding our issue. I told her it makes me uncomfortable and if she is going to keep him as even just a friend in her life to at least talk to him less than they have been. I have been making an effort towards spending more time talking to her and spending time with her and it seems to be helping the matter. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks fellas. I have been reading the Arot of Manliness series on T. They haven't been posting up the articles until the evening. Seems like an informative series so far, interested to see what the reccomendations for increasing T are though. I bet they involve eating right and lifting heavy shit as often as possible.
  7. Gentleman, I come for advice. I have read this thread sporadically and it seems like there is a good bit of advice to be had 'round these parts. TL;DR - Wife is talking to ex-fiance, I want to re-arrange his face. Recently (~2 weeks ago) my wife dropped the "Hey I don't want to fight but... I've been talking to my ex-fiance." bomb on me as I was walking out the door to work. My wife and I have been married 3 years tomorrow and been together 5 1/2 years. I love that woman to no end. I have never once in my entire life felt jealousy about anything or towards anyone until that moment. Actually in that moment it was more rage and an overwhelming urge to remodel the wall with my fist, but now it has turned into an extreme feeling of jealousy mixed with a healthy dose soul destroying rage, I am not an angry person but I have an overwhelming feeling of constant anger/sadness. I recently found out that they have been emailing and texting and even Skyped since August. She assures me that nothing is going on more than friendly chat. She has also said she will "always love him, not in the way that I love you but as a friend" and that he has told her that he "would wait until the end of the world for her." More rage. I trust her 100%. I do not trust him. He is married. I feel he is disrespecting me and my marriage AND his marriage by talking to (and flirting with as she informed me) my wife. Everything inside me is screaming to put an end to it (really just go find his navy ship in the ocean and punchasize his face). I have spoken with her and written emails (I have expressive aphasia so sometimes writing is my best form of communication) expressing my feelings on the subject. I know that if I outright tell her to end the talking to him it will cause resentment on her end for me, but allowing it to go on is causing me some serious issues. It is causing issues in our marriage.
  8. Have been doing ok. Had some issues at home come up that have been distracting hence no updates. still plugging along.
  9. Been ok on diet. Yesterday kind of sucked, but i didn't totally hog out, I haven't been to the gym since last update, community center I use is closed on weekends. I worked out at the station today, kind of... Burpees. Tomorrow Back on it hard. I need to get weekends in check, that's my biggest problem.
  10. Well I missed yesterday. Did 9 this morning.
  11. Alright. Last night we had lasagna for dinner and I had a beer, once the fasting window closed and the eating window opened i had some air popped popcorn an apple and a protein shake, then dinner. This morning before going to the gym I ate what was left of my sons oatmeal then off to the gym I went. Leg day. Squat - 6x115, 7x115, 15x45 (I deloaded on the last set because my form suddenly went to crap midway through the second set and I needed to get myself back in check before I hurt myself, no clue what happened but it wasn't good, will be working on squat form.) Deadlift - 8x135, 10x135, 10x135 (Deloaded on dead as well, stalled at 205 hoping a reset will help me push through that stall.) Leg Press - 10x140, 8x155 8x155 Calf Raise - 25x45, 25x45, 25x45 3 Burpees for the 100 day burpee challenge. All the new years resolutioners were in the gym today (good for them, bad for me... lol) all the cardio machines were taken. If it stops snowing I will go for a run this afternoon.
  12. As a backpacker, I will tell you what I do. When I was getting ready to do my 7 day 45 miler last june in the weminuche wilderness I loaded my day pack with about half the weight of my actual pack and hiked every chance I got, walked every chance I got. Once I started getting close (1-2 months away) I loaded my actual pack with the weight it would be for the trip (that outing was about 43lb) and would hike once a week the total of one day's hike for the trip which was about 6.5 miles (some days were longer some were shorter but average 6.5 miles a day). Of course depending on your current fitness level and prior hiking experience, you would want to modify. That was by far the longest backpacking trip i've done. It was still quite difficult but very rewarding. Most important thing is have fun!
  13. I drink a gallon a day so... 128oz? Carry my gallon jug around and get funny looks. Take a swig whenever I feel like I should eat a bag of cheetos lol.
  14. Knocked out my 2 today after my sprint intervals.
